[Resolved] passport not received — Police verification not received by passport office | |||
Dear Sir, Application submitted at kolkata passport office on 20.05.2010 through Siliguri Passport application collection center having File No:A040318, it is about more than three months. we have not received the passport. On line tracking showng that Police Verification not received. Now it is the reponsibility of PAssport office to get the verification within time. From local police station DIB branch at Siliguri has sent the verification after taking all documents and verified, I personaly reported at the office in presence of Mr. Abhijit Das, the concern officer. After some days while I again visited and enquired about teh same he informed taht teh report is already sent to Darjeeling, S.P. office on 22.07.2010. The details of I.P. No and D.R. No is as below: Ref I. P. No.3388/17-10 DR No:2484/10 dtd.22/07/10. Now it is more than a month the verification report was sent from local police station to Darjeeling and it was not despatch from Darjeeling. Was this information helpful? | |||

With reference to the above subject matter its re grate to inform you that i have applied for fresh passport on 03.02.2011 till date i not received police verification from my college nearest local police station, i enquired several times in the police station they are saying that not yet received, but the passport office telephone assistant said that they sent my verification papers about 3times, the last granted date 14.04.2011. i have called on the passport office they were not taking the telephone . if they take, they will not give the clear picture or not give response ...

Police Verification has been initiated. Request has been sent to SP Office, District Bangalore .Your passport will be dispatched after receiving the 'Clear' Police Verification Report at Passport Office. You would receive an sms/email once the passport is dispatched.
