Hi,

I have applied for tatkal passport to add spouse name And it has been 2 weeks almost and i have not recived my passport still. For tatkal passport there will post police verfication but for me the status shows as "After clear police verification report we will dispatch your passport".

I need my passport urgenty. Request you to send the passport immidatly.

I Have applied for a fresh Passport on dated 13.12.2011 - but due to some documents missing i again applied in January 2012 and they accepted my application - and after successful Police Verification sent by my area -Kurla Police station - I am still waiting for my Passport - its been 6 months - and the Status on Internet shows "your application is in process" Kindly suggest what should i do as i have to travel Saudi Arabia in July...

We have applied for passport on 27-04-11. Police verification had done after 1 month of application date.
We checked with the local police, they said verification is success and file had dispatched to passport office.
But when we consult passport office, they did not received any verification from the local police.

We have to go US asap, and waiting for passport over10 months.

This is Ram Sridhar, this is regarding delay in receiving passport. My brother (from Warangal), had applied for the passport in FEB 2010 (9 MONTHS), found there was a spelling mistake and re-applied on 20.10.2010. ITS BEEN ONE YEAR THERE NO RESPONSE and NOT RECEIVED PASSPORT....TILL DATE. THIS SHOWS THE KIND OF SERVICE FROM PASSPORT OFFICE.

I have submitted my application for renewal of passport on 21st Jun 2010 at Hyderabad office of RPO. So far after 6 (Six) Months also i have not received my passport.The status of online enquiry shows as :" It is to regret that due to unavoidable circumstances the despatch of Passport has been delayed and will now be despatched in a week's time." dated : last updated on[protected].

Application submitted at kolkata passport office on 20.05.2010 through Siliguri Passport application collection center having File No:A040318, it is about more than three months. we have not received the passport. On line tracking showng that Police Verification not received. Now it is the reponsibility of PAssport office to get the verification within time.
