HOW TO CANCEL THE PREVIOUS AND APPLY FOR THE NEW PASSPORT .

sir, my friend had applied for the passport in the year 2008. i had already completed

my police verification but upto now i didnt get my passport.and i went

to the passport office and enquire about this several times but there will be no

response.sir i got fed up from all this and now i want to cancel my first passport

and want to apply passport freshly ...please help me to know how to do it

I need this for my coming future.. waiting for ur humble reply as soon as possible.
