i have applied for a valid indian passport arround 2 years back, most of its formalities had been made, but when i havnt recieved my passport then i have contacted the LUCKNOW passport office, and during the investigation, they have said my police verification has been failed and address proof wasn't sufficient.
So I submitted the affidavit for re-verification and also submitted the documents for my identity proof in feb 2009, but still when i was uncleared about the status of my passport. I have dropped an complain mail to ADO(Passport) New Delhi and RPO(Passport) Lucknow.
But instead of mailing console, i haven't found anything new.
Due to this unavailability of passport i have missed many of on-site opportunities of Europe and USA.

I went to passport office on dated[protected] for the inquiry, the officer sent me on 2nd floor to talk with Mr. Marshal,
Mr. Marshal give me a new generated slip file number LKO-D[protected] he told there was some problem and I sent your police inquiry on 5th Mar 2010. The police verification is cleared in a month since that in internet inquiry there is a line (police report is cleared the passport is expected to be dispatch by[protected].
After 18-08-10 how many times I visit to Lucknow Passport office and write a lot of mail to Delhi & Lucknow Passport Department. From Delhi I get reply only (Take Necessary Action Please).
After that there is one more line (It is to regret that due to unavoidable circumstances the despatch of Passport has been delayed and will now be despatched in a week’s time) since 09-09-10 am seeing the same line.

Passport Office Lucknow — not received passport since 13 months
Sir i had applied for a fresh passport at lucknow regional passport office on the 16th of july 2007 with the file ref. no. LKOA[protected], after all the enquiries with me being present i had been asked in dec to resubmit the form which i did on the 7th of january 2008 but still i have not received my passport now with a statement that my name as in passport records is Shobhit Srivastava instead of Shobhit kumar Srivastava and so the passport will not be issued. Well in actual all my certificates and documentary proofs bear the name Shobhit kumar Srivastava...i am a mechanical engineer and passport is a pre-requisite for my joining at larsen and toubro scheduled next month failing which i will have to suffer. So sir with great regards i hope that this case will be looked after as i dont know whom to contact in this respect as due to the enormous crowd at the rpo lko i am unable to meet any of the officials. thanks
