[Resolved] Prime Haven Holidays — Charged my credit card without information | |||
Sir, I am KOMMU BALAJYOTHI from ANDHRA PRADESH.Firstly i have to bring to your notice that, I am getting calls from private operators viz travel agents regularly. For i have never shared my mobile number to any of these. The operators convey me that they have selected me as the best consumer and wish to give me a gift at an offer price. I have refused to consider them in the first instances. On repeated tele-calling , at a time when i was busy i told them upon receiving the documents regarding only i will convey my interest in the product. Further they have asked me to provide the credit card details. since , the person was constantly referring to SBI CARDS, i disclosed my credit card information. I was surprised to see that my credit card has been charged. which i never conveyed. Now when i called the persons ,firstly they said they will cancel within 2 hours which they haven't. Further when i called them again they said it cannot be cancelled as i have approved of the transaction. I am very new to this tele-calling activities, I feel i have been betrayed. Further when i called them they asked me to send a mail for which a reply within 2 hours is assured,but haven't received yet. I wish to lodged a complaint against SBI CARDs for sharing my Mobile Number without my consent. Secondly against PRIME HAVEN HOLIDAYS for breaching the trust assured on the call. Without even knowing anything about the Travel holiday and not receiving any information about it or with no written consent of mine they shouldn't have done this. Please look into this act ,as many would have also been fall pray to acts as these. Please take action against them and help me get my money. For which of act i would be ever grateful. thanks kommu, your comment helped me not fall pray to a similar call the other day from the same company but this time quoting ICICI cards. the person on phone informed me that ICICI HAS APPOINTED THEM to distribute free gifts on their behalf being an esteemed customer. whereas on enquiry ICICI informed me that they arn't in tieup with any such company. I declined to divulge my details to the person as I could immediately log on to the net & read your comments even when i was on line talking to the guy & confirmed with him the hidden charges you mentioned. thanks again as ur blog helped me on time. am going to pursue how this company got my card information.

I have also got a call from them today morning. I told them that I am not interested in their product. However, I will lodge a complaint against the company for calling me even though I am registered for DND
yes...they r doing illigal activities.they charged twice for annual fee of membership and now not giving any satisfactory answer that when they will return the money.

When I asked again his company name and his name, the Guy disconnected the Phone. BEWARE GUYS THIS IS A SCAM AND DON'T GIVE ANY OF YOUR INFORMATION TO THEM. I got a call from this number[protected] . You might fall into a big fraud just in the name of few free gifts. Lodge police complaint if possible cause banks never give credit card information.

For the past two days i got the calls from [protected] and[protected] regarding the free holidays from prime heaven holidays. this is one of the new technique for extracting the details of the credit card. i have revealed the some information, later i have blocked the credit card and applied the new card. don't believe these kind of information, they are speaking in english, tamil telungu and hindi.I am surprising, no legal action taken place so far against them.Any one give any ideas about how to complain these bad guys?

i'm receiving calls from [protected] regularly and we're not interested for the same and we are not interested for the same but unfortunately i shared my SBI card details and hope they are not going to deduct the money out of it, because i've not shared the cvv no. and the code they were asking shall be displayed on my mobile. they're total fraud and the sbi should not share the details with anyone without the client's consent.

I also recieved this call from PRIME HAVEN HOLIDAYS - +[protected]. As per them i got this call because of good SBI credit history. They started off with my SBI card expiry for which I fell for. then gradually they reached my card number.(If bank can provide them history of the payments then why not they have these information--Big question to think). I also provided that.
They explained me that i will get RAY BAN Aviator glasses and some FOCE watch for 2. Also the domestic and international holiday packages. Then they slid in between that I need to just pay Rs.9000/- as government taxes and some crap. But it was all behind the sweet conversation. Gradually they reached my email ID and then the address(which I did not give). I just relented to all this saying that why not block my card when I make a booking for any hotel. Then the story started turning away from him and he was not able to give an explanation. He pushed the call to his some so called senior who started speaking harsh. I said to him please do not block my card, i will not be able to use it when i require. He was trying to convince me in return that what if you had a requirement more than my credit limit then what will I do...Similarly i should use my credit card considering i have Rs.9000/- less. Oh crap...Now he will advise how I use my credit limit.
Later i tried calling back the number several times but the call failed to connect. This I sure understand is a TRAP. Also if i call back SBI they would say that we had warned you not to give your information to anybody by any means. I guess SBI is not behind this but these thugs somehow have managed to get our names and number and the time since we were using the credit card.
They do have a website "http://www.primehavenholidays.com" which lists the details of the plan. They are trying to do a Foreceful marketing on the custmer I think. They do not have any tie ups any bank. I also asked them the can i get the same info if I call my bank, they denied.
Another doubt i had is even if they are not a part of Prime Haven Holidays but may just gather cards information by their name and execute the thug. So friends please beware.
Also Mr. Raj(Raj123456789101112131415) who commented on 28th Aug that he was happy with this. Just wanted to check wether you availed this from the website or thru the TRAP call and later realized that we can might well try it.

If they think that, they can do better, we must give them back. I'm working on its solution to get money back, if that works out. i will inform everyone how to get the money back.
My requests are
- Never accept any courier from unknown.
- alert your family or your office staff not receive any courier without ur knowledge.
- if its on prime haven or any holidays name, never accept. just tell courier guy, this is not for us.
that's it. i will make everyone to get their money back.

i also got similar call today, from starting only it felt like a trap. i asked time to get more information in email or thru internet. luckily i saw many negative reviews. i am not going to take it now. they started the same way .. wise usgae of card, SBI card, expiry date of card etc.
