[Resolved]  Qatar Airways — Electronic items missing from the baggage.

I mr eddy rosario barretto seaman started my journey on 8th of july 2012, from olando airport u. S. A. , to goa, india. My flight in olando was cancelled due to technical difficulties and was booked for the next day itinerary olando - newyork - qatar - goa. During my travel i missed my luggage. This was reported to the qatar airways officials in goa. At this point they did not compensate me with anything and all my clothes were in it. As per the qatar airways officials said that the luggage will be coming on the next day flight at the same time which is 3:30 am in goa. As per their saying i reported at the airport at 3:30 and the baggage didn't come. So they told me to come the next day at 9:30 am, saying that the baggage is come. When i went to collect my baggage the qatar airways said to go to the custom officer n collect the baggage. The custom officer took me inside the locker where the luggage was kept n told me to identify it. I identified it and gave it in his hand as per his saying and he put it inside the screen. I saw the screen and was not the normal screen which i saw in u. S. A. While i was leaving the ship. Than i told the custom officers that my electronic items and some chocolates are missing. Than he told me to report to the qatar airways office and made me to sign the delivery form so that they are cleared from their part. Then i reported the qatar airways office in goa the person in charge (Mr. Viniel) at that time opened the luggage and saw that everything was scattered and things were damaged. He said that they will try to find the missing things or they will compensate me for the missing items. As per their formalities they took all my details and made me to fill up the form. The missing items were recorded on the form, which is sony car stereo, model xav - 32 bt, sony play - station - 3 and the game controller and chocolates, together with the bills. So the qatar airways in goa said not to worry and they will compensate 100% of the loss.
Today i received call from
Qatar airways saying that they cannot compensate me with any amount. Which peace me off. Help!!!

Qatarairways — Baggage Not Yet Received

Have not received my luggage in hyderabad. When i spoke to hyderabad authority members they say QATAR Airways hasn't handed over the luggage to delhi Authority of AIR India. Hyderabad authority has already requested for the same N Number of times.


Request you to treat this as an emergency and hope will do the needful as an responsible citizen..
