[Resolved]  r k travels — Cheating

Hi,

I would like to lodge a complaint of cheating against R. K Travels, Andheri(East), Mumbai.
My client had arrived at Mumbai international airport on 8th Dec 2012 from UK and he was supposed

to travel directly to Pune by taxi. Because of some mis-communication my taxi driver could not

pick him up and hence my client had to hire a local taxi from Mumbai to Pune.

My client was taken to R K Travels by some agent and was looted, as R K Travels charged him Rs.

6000 for an Innova from Mumbai to Pune. The regular price charged by R K Travels is Rs.[protected]

(i have confirmed this by calling them). Also on top of this, on reaching Pune the driver told me

that the money was not paid in advance and my brother was made to pay an additional Rs.2300 by

the driver. As it was early in the morning, and we did not want to disturb the client , we did

not come to know that he had already paid Rs.6000 to R K Travels in Mumbai, until we picked him

up in the evening.

In total i ended up paying Rs. 6000 + 2300 = Rs. 8300 for a taxi from Mumbai to Pune. (Regular

price Rs.2300).

I feel completely cheated and looted and i demand immediate and strict action against R K Travels

and the Driver.

I have the original receipt from R K Travels as Proof.
