Sub: Grievance on the delayed Investigation on the case of Robbery / Dacoity at my Residence.

Dear Sir,

I am Madan Swarup Mathur, an employee of State Government of Rajasthan. I am writing this e-mail as a lender of the last resort for a Solution to my grievance.

On January 29, 2009 my house 109, Krishna Nagar, Goliyawas, Mansarovar, was robbed by a gang of 8 people. This was done in the presence of me, my wife, my daughter-in-law and her 1 month old daughter. We lost our hard earned money to the extent to almost 10 Lacs.

It was to our shock and surprise as it was a question mark on a layman’s security in the city. The case got highly escalated to your good offices, print and television media.

We were assured by Local law enforcement teams that things would go fine and the culprits will not be spared. During the initial days all seemed to be going well, when this incident was a burning topic in the city. Gradually all seemed to be diminishing.

The Police supposedly had arrested 2 of the people in the month of April 2009 whom they accused to be involved in the robbery and were sent into Judicial custody.

Later we were given to understand by Law enforcement that they have been granted the permission for Narco analysis test in Gujrat and case was heading towards a logical resolution.

One fine day, in the month of July 2009, on inquiring with the Law enforcement team in Mansarovar, the astonishing fact which came to our notice was the accused have already been granted bail. We could gather information that the charge sheet was not duly submitted in the stipulated time of 90 days hence the accused were bailed out by the H’ble court of law.

I wish to know what and where went wrong, when the accused were in judicial custody, Investigations were being done, suddenly why the accused were released and that too came to our notice only upon enquiring by ourselves.

It is nothing but a sheer negligence on the part of Law enforcement that the accused are set out and again there is a threat to our lives. In the end a resident of your city has lost all what he acquired in 35 years of his service to the state government.

I request to get the enquires done in a rationale and unbiased fashion and get the same decisioned at the earliest.
