I had 2 RBS credit cards with a combined credit limit of Rs. 2,57,000.00 Yesterday I received a message from them stating that the credit limit has been reduced to Rs. 1,500.00. On enquiry, the customer service executive confirmed the same.
I have never missed a due date, more importantly i have not used the card in the last 2 months.
This is very insulting and absurd. To top all that, an executive named Shoaib was very rude while i was enquiring about the status and closing of the credit card. Was this information helpful? |
This is to bring to your notice that I have been using the RBS (ABN AMRO) credit card for the last 5-6 years and I was given credit limit of Rs.47, 000/- at that time itself. I have maintained clean repayment records so far without any default. In spite of this all of a sudden they have reduced the credit limit to Rs.3, 500/- without any reasons. For the queries, I have received their regret mails without quoting any reasons.
In view of the above, I am feeling insulted. They should have increased my credit limit considering the increase in my salary and position, instead bank has reduced credit limit to meagre Rs.3, 500/-
Please advise me in this matter.
