RBS credit card — Harassment by RBS Credit Card Team

I was using RBS Credit Card for the duration of approx 2 yrs and without any issues and I was paying complete usage charges on time without any delay but when I found recently that the bank has started charging unnecessary financial charges, I have stopped using it but paid my complete usage charges till date without any issues. I have already sent an email to the Customer Care team and requested for all the financial details via mail after verifying my usage and the charges paid till date but the bank hasn't responded since last 2 months approx. Now the bank has started harassing me by calling on my mobile for the charges but not ready to provide me details via mail.

Please suggest how should I handle this situation, so that the bank can verify all the details and get all the unnecessary charges cleared from my account. Since I have already stopped using RBS Credit Card and don't want to use it anymore.

what kind of financial charges ? if they are not providing the details then write to banking ombudsmen and rbi and the headqtrs of the bank - they will give you the entire details and if there are genuine lapses on your part - pay the money

Pls note i have received last month statement and it found unwanted member ship fee Rs.595/- in my account, last year also i had spoken and sort it out, and the same waived, if any unwanted fees you have to process to my account you people should get my permission.

Last few days we have try to reach bank by phone facility ([protected]), but this also not answering.

Kindly check and do the needful for waive the Member Ship Fee Rs.595+st%

Royal Bank Of Scotland — NON SENDING OF STATEMENT AND CHARGING UNNECESSARY CHARGES

I HAVE A ROYAL BANK OF SCOTLAND CREDIT CARD NO. [protected]. MY LIMIT WAS 43000 AND SUDDENLY IN THE MONTH OF APRIL I GOT A STATEMENT REDUCING MY LIMIT TO 1500 WITHOUT ANY NOTICE OR ANYTHING.

THAT TIME MY DUES TO CREDIT CARD WAS RS. 750/-, AND EVEN I DINT GOT THE STATEMENT IN THAT MONTH IN WHICH THE SAID AMOUNT WAS PAYABLE, AND THEY CHARGES ME LATE PAYMENT CHARGES, OVER LIMIT CHARGES ETC ETC., EVEN AFTER REGISTERING A COMPLAINT WITH THEM THEY HAVENT CAME BANK NEITHER THE AMOUNT IS REVERSED, AND EVEN WITHOUT ANY FAULT FROM MY SIDE I WASTED MY TIME AND MADE CALL 2-3 TIMES TO REVERSE THE AMOUNT SO THAT I CAN MAKE THE PAYMENT. BUT NOTHING HAS HAPPENED.

NOW THE DUES ARE 3923/- AND EVERY MONTH THEY ARE CHARGING ME LATE PAYMENT AND OVERLIMIT FEES WHICH IS NOT ACCEPTABLE AND NEEDS TO BE REVERSED.

RBS is stubborn in not reversing the membership fees on the cards. Frankly, the attitude has changed since the days of ABN AMRO when the card was free and you have better access to offers and BBP reps. Now there are several other bankers who provide similar and even better services than RBS for a free card. If you think about a long term card that you are going to keep, you'd rather look out for a different bank.

If you stopped using your card after the membership fees was levied, and the reason for canceling the card was membership fees, then the bank must reverse the membership fees. Because, the membership fees is levied in advance. They are obviously not going to provide you with service after you have canceled the card, so why should you pay. The best response it to write to RBS customer care, and then to ombudsman. If you receive any harassment calls, just inform that you are recording the call. Those punters will get scared and run away. Any uninvited visit to home, should be recorded on camera and sent to news channels for public awareness.
my out standing was 36612.76 and due date was 2/12/10.
I have done all payment on 25 nov'10 by cheque. i have call to customer care for close my card and give me no dues certificate. that time customer care assured me all think OK no due will relesed in next three days.

but i have not received of No dues. I have received a statement in which 225.67 amount is pending.

i dont know " why this amount is pending and in last month i have done all payment."

this is really harassment by RBS bank.

no-1439085.on august 3rd i received an information that there was a
short fall in my account balance due to wrong charges which has been
charged by your bank. all ready send to email.but not response from your side .
i have enclosed all the documents which was
required by you to dated 3rd sep 2011. please refund the amount which has been debited from my
account.
i will be highly obliged if you please do the
needful as early as possible.
