My account [protected]@rediffmail.com has been hacked. i was not using this account from past 5-6 months but realized today, i cannot even lohin.

Please tell me what to do and someone would be misusing it.

i had a linked account to my gmail account from my [protected]@rediffmail account. I have logged in the rediffmail account through password reset options and i doubt my gmail account, kumar.[protected]@gmail.com also been accessed.

I recalled my password and login to my rediff account and could login. To clarify my doubt i tried login using alternate options with answres to questions, i could login then it rediff ask to change the password first before seeing the mail box.

Since i can still open the my mail with my old password, i realize it is never been hacked and could not see any mails being deleted or opened which i recieved in past. so no email box of mine got hacked.

Thanks to the policy of the e-mail softawares where it is mandatory to change the password before going to mail box in case someone fraudantly want to take sneek in your mail box disguising you of not being misused.

So the same my gmail account also is safe and not been hacked which i initially suspected after unable to login in rediffmail.
