Reebok Shoes — poor posting of sole

Reebok — poor quality of pasting in shoe sole

Hi,
I had bought a pair of shoes from Reebok outlet in Pantaloons on 11th August 2008. At the point of purchase I had enquired for the quality of the product which was rest assured to me that if any defects or damage were reported within 6 months of purchase or usage of 1800 Kilometers would be mended officially.
I had some genuine reasons to revisit the showroom for some quality defects with 4 months of purchase. The usage was also well within the required parameters since I wear the shoes thrice a week (on Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday to tutions) and I commute by Autorickshaw (so the question of wear & tear of the same is very remote in such limited usage).
The defect that I encountered was that the side area of my shoes got eroded and also the portion of rubber material that was attached to the shoes bottom sole was detached and eroded. The executive at the Pantaloon showroom was completely satisfied and convinced with the dissatisfaction and asked me to submit the shoes which would be sent to Factory for repairing.But as I am an undergraduate and my exams were near so I couldn't afford to give the shoe right then so they promised me that when I'll be back in January they will repair it.I trusted the gentleman since he is associated with a Company that has built customer trust and goodwill across the globe for last couple of decades.
On 12th January 2009 when revisited the showroom there was another executive for the other one was on leave and he said me that as the shoes were bought in off season sale so, that could be exchanged only during next offseason. Hence I had to come back and wait until next offseason.
But when I went on 16th February 2009 they turned me down giving me vage reasons.They said offseason products do not guarantee quality but it was neither mentioned anywhere on product nor did they say me at the time of purchase.

Now, considering the entire story that I have narrated and could be confirmed at your end, is it something that I should be responsible. I had played my role well within the warranty period and due to some lack of service from your end is making me pay the price for a genuine purchase from your store. I am sincerely dissatisfied and humiliated. May be that I would indeed end my customer relationship with Reebok and never visit any of the store to buy any merchandise but along with this I would also try convey to people about the inside story and the hidden fact behind every such purchases.

Please do not treat any of my statements as a threat made to the company but a genuine inconvenience / dissatisfaction and my regrets towards the Company.

Request you to place yourself in my shoes, treat me as a genuine customer making a genuine purchase without understanding that I would have to face so much of mental trauma and try resolve the issue at least communicating me back about the further course of action from your end and the further course of action that I may need to take from my end.

I had purchased 2 pairs Reebok shoes from Big Bazaar, Kandivali-E(Mumbai). Unfortunately I had not stored the bills for attaching the same.
This is my 6th pair of Reebok shoes that I own. With great displeasure, I would like to inform you that the one pair of shoes soles has started coming off while my use is only for an hour for morning walks. It is not even 5 months that I have bought the same.
Since I am an ardent fan of Reebok, I do not expect such quality from such a well known brand, especially when I have purchased at such an expensive price. They are worth Rs.4300/- and I am shocked to see their condition.
I would appreciate if you would look into the matter at the earliest and suggest further steps.

I had sent a complaint even before but there was no reply. I hope you respond to the current complaint. Otherwise I Would be forced to complain about it to the consumer forum.
