[Resolved] Regional Passport Office — Delay in issue of passport | |||
I submitted my passport for ECR clearence on 20/12/2010. I was told that, as it is a re-issue case, it would take maximum of 30 days till I get my new passport. I had been to the area police station to enquiry about the verification status, but I was told that they have not yet received my passport details. Its been 18 days and there has not yet been any enquiry from the police. I was expecting the re-issue of my passport at the earliest as I have to travel. Was this information helpful? | |||

We have submitted a passport application on[protected], for my passport renewal and a new passport for my sister. The online status shows 'Police Report has not been received' . The passport vide file reference number is HYD-E002550 and HYD-A023146. Attempts to the passport authorities over phone and email to rpo.hyderabad failed. I request passport authorities to issue our passport at the earliest.

STATUS : It is to regret that due to unavoidable circumstances the dispatch of Passport has been delayed and will now be dispatched in a week's time
I have applied for foreign university for my masters in US. Since the admissions will b closed this week, I urgently need my passport. I already made the payment for the first Semester. If it will be too late, i will loose my seat and fees what I paid there is nonrefundable.

The passport vide file reference number is (BN[protected] The online status shows Police verfication report is sent to RPO. But today 02 sep 2011 online status say police verification report will be sent to RPO, i dont understand what is going on. since it is tatkal I request passport authorities to issue my passport at the earliest.

Dear Sir/Mam,
I have submitted an application for passport on 7th of May at Common Service Post office and my police verification was over with in few days. I got a letter certifiying that my police verification is clear, and therefore my passport will be depatched shortly. It's been 2 months of submission of my passport and verification still I m waiting for despatch of my passport. I dont kno w the reason for delay in issue of my Passport. Details are furnished below.
