[Resolved]  Reliance Broadband — No Refund

Hi

In Nov 2011, I applied for BB connection and the cheque is debited from my account and after that the agent informed that there is no feasibility and till now i am waiting for my refund. I tried reaching all places of reliance on this, even appellate authorities and Customer care. Each time, i get a response, that someone from broadband department will contact me. Till now, i didnt get even a single call or resolution email on this.

Please help !

Hai, this is rajesh on behalf of padmanaban.some three months back.padmanaban booked for reliance broadband.the customer executive (Annamalai) asked him to fill the form and ask him a cheque for Rs.560 even before giving the connection.after 15 days they came for giving connection.becos of signal they said "it will not work out here.becos the signal is very week so ul get a bad connection of net".and he asked for refund they said they will refund soon.but nearly three months over still they didnt refund the amount.one of the executive of reliance broadband, his name is arunkumar([protected]).he is having his the cheque.he is giving irresponsible replies.if we ask for the cheque.so what he is saying is"HE knows what to do at what time.so you dont have rights to force us to put cheque".
so they are irresponsible.so its better to not to get reliance broadband.u can go for a nameless brand.but not to reliance.its utter waste.
I had also applied for a reliance connection and paid for 6 months connection (sum of Rs.5600). I have been fighting for a refund for about 3 months now after they said the connection is not feasible in that area. I have not succeeded getting m y money back. pls suggest me if you have ways to get that money back.

Hi,
I sent my application for broadband connection on 15th July 2010. My cheque was en-cashed
on 23rd of July.
They were supposed to activate my account in 7 days. Their tech assistant came to our place
and told us that connection won't be possible as signal is too weak. On the other hand my friends have perfect connection in the next building.
When complained to the manager (Mr. Arvind [protected]) he told me that we will get the connection next week( inspite of knowing that signal is weak). But since then I'm getting a cold response from customer care saying that this issue has been escalated and no information is provided to me when I'll get my refund. Arvind has stopped receiving calls and customer care executives just forward our problem.
I have to travel 2-3 Kms after my office hours to check their mails as they never bother to update me on this issue. Please look into this matter, these people are toying with the customers. I'm very upset the way things have gone so far as I cannot go for any other vendor until I get the refund.
My broadband connection went offline on 23rd july 2014. After registering a complaint and waiting for days I was told that the company has not paid electricity bill for the DLC and the issue will be resolved as soon as the bill is paid.
After much follow up, I was told 2 months later (in august) that my connection was down because the corresponding "Reliance web-world" outlet was closed permanently. Apparently, the company was lying to me for 2 months.
I have paid bills of July-August-September because I was told by appellate authority that even if I am not receiving service, I will have to pay the bills in order to keep the complaint alive. The connection was never restored nor am I being offered a refund. I have made hundreds of calls to customer care and appellate authority but in vain.
