[Resolved]  Reliance Communications — Improper Billing

Respected Sir,
Iam putting across this Complaint from Bangalore against Reliance Communications.My Service UserId is[protected].Iam using
Reliance Broadband with a land line connection.I had the worst of worst experience with Reliance communications.
Firstly the recent issue Iam facing is on the billing. I requested for the Itemized Bill for the Bill No.[protected] and Bill Date[protected]. I used my phone for Official purpose and as the amount was more I need to claim the amount from my Company. For this I need to furnish the Itemized Bill marking the numbers, without which I will not get the amount reimbursed. But the executive stated that I need to activate the service priorly to get the Itemized Bill and I will not get for the Bill Dated[protected]. Please understand that I need to provide that particular bill for reimbursement and there is no use activating the Service in future. All Service Providers in India provide the Itemized Bill as and when the Customer requests for the same. It is right of every Customer to know and get his Itemized bill when requested and denying is against the "Right To Information" of the Customer and is not a better Customer Service. It gives a suprise to me that if I call asking for the status of the Complaint the Executive says that the Complaint is closed. How can the complaint be closed without resolution and my consent?
Also the samething happened to me for the month of bill dated 23-May-2010(Complaint No:[protected],[protected],my phone usage amount was more, I wanted to check the reason so I asked for itemized bill for that month the Customer Care denied saying I'll not get the Itemized statement for previous month I should place the request before the bill gets generated.How will I know that usage is more as apart from me my family memebers will also be using? Now somehow I managed to get the Itemized Bill from one of my friend working in Reliance Communications.Now when I see the bill I have been charged wrongly for one of the Toll Free Number given by my company[protected] that I have used. Please you try this number from any Prepaid/PostPaid Mobile anywhere from India not even 1 Paise is charged no matter however long you use this number. Now when I call the Customer Care they take the complaint and give me a Reference Number for the Complaint saying it'll be resolved in 48 Hours and someone from Reliance will call me for the consent. But after 2 Days when I call the Customer Care executive says the Complaint is closed and the number is chargeable. Without speaking to me and without asking my consent how can they close the complaint. Also if the issue is not resolved as per Reliance we need to contact the Nodal Officer and the contact number is[protected]. I called this number to take up the issue with the so called Nodal Officer, whether you believe or not I have called 100 Times continuously for 3 days noone picks up the call.I have also written a mail to the Nodal Officer but no response at all.Can the TRAI or Consumer forum please take a severe action against Reliance Communications, the Nodal Offficer(for not responding to Customers) and provide justice to Consumers. Please help me so that I get my amount that is charged is refunded.

I had subscribed to a Rs 400 plan on my reliance data card.
I got billed for a Rs 650 plan.
Upon compliant I was told that their record shows my plan is at Rs 650.
I cant trust the phone conversations made to this company.

Reliance — Improper billing

I was a Reliance broadband connection user. Due to the pathetic response from Reliance customer support regarding problems with their connections I had requested for disconnection of my internet services on the 5th of March, however no action was taken on this; I again called up customer support and inquired about the disconnection request on the 26th of March after which my services were disconnected.

However whiles charging me they charged me for the entire period up to 26th of March. When I asked customer support why action was not taken on the initial request made on 5th March they informed me no such request was raised by me (The details of the request I raised on the 5th of May surprisingly disappeared from their systems).

Even though I provided them the reference number I received for the initial disconnection request; I had also talked to customer support two times before (before the info went missing from their system) regarding this initial disconnection request.

All attempts to discuss this with customer care have been futile, irrespective of what I say they always have a fix reply which they keep sending across, no matter what question I ask. I have tried to escalate this in Reliance however I did not receive any replies from any of the escalated authorities

I Fell this is something very cheap and unethical from a company like reliance. If there is a mistake from their side I at least expect them to stand up and accept it.
I agree. Every time I go to a Webworld, the whole process is carried out all over again, the complaint is registered, a new number generated, an email promised, and then NOTHING!! even if its the same guy who did the whole thing the last time, he will feign ignorance, and promise that it'll be done in a matter of two days, making your insistence and desperation at getting your work done seem like paranoia. Someone should do a study of the levels of stress amongst reliance customers and the incidence of their complaints against reliance.
I have been browsing through a number of customer complaint sites and they are FLOODED with complaints of billing malpractises. Reliance must be making a fortune if they are overcharging all their customers so grossly. This is a SCAM! Can nothing be done about it more than impotently post complaints online?! These guys need to be SUED bigtime!

Reliance — phone bill charged for improper services

THIS IS IN CONTINUATION TO MY VISIT IN BHAYANDER WEST WEB WORLD DATED 12TH MAY 2010
I HAVE ALREADY GIVEN MY REQUEST IN WRITING TO THE ATTENDING OFFICER WHICH IS AS BELOW,
I WAS FACING CALL DROPP IN THE MONTH OF MARCH WHICH APPEARED FOR APPROX 15 DAYS CONTINEOUSLY,
WHITH THIS REGARDS I HAVE ALREADY GIVEN SEVERAL REQUEST ON COUSTMER SERVICE HELP LINE.
THE LAST REQUEST IN THIS REGARD WAS KEPT UNRESOLVED STATING REASON BILL IS NOT GENERATED WHICH WAS ON 11 TH MARCH 2010.
FURTHER TOMY VISITS IN WEB WORLD WERE UNAREPLIED AND I WAS ASKED TO GIVE A REQUEST IN WRITING.
AFTER MATTER GIVEN IN WRITING I WAS INFORMED THAT MS. SUNITA CHAUHAN WILL MEET,
IN MY MEETING I WAS SAID I WILL BE GIVEN DROPPED CALL REVERSAL AND NO RENTAL REVERSAL WILL BE GIVEN AND I WAS SAID NOTHING IN WRITING WILL BE PROVIDED IN THIS REGARDS.
SIR IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING IS RIGHT THEN WHY ARE YOU ALL FEARING TO REPLY IN WRITING?
MY REQUEST STILL STANDS SAME
I HAVE A CONTRACT WITH RELAINCE THAT I WILL HAVE TO PAY MINIMUM RENTAL FOR GETTING SMOOTH AND UNINTERUPTED SERVICES
WHICH IS ALREADY BEEN TAKEN IN ADVANCE EVERY MONTH.
IF I AM GETTING INTURREPTED SERVICES CONTINEOUSLY FOR MORE THEN 3 DAYS I HAVE NO GOOD REASON TO PAY MY BASIC RENTAL OR SCHEME CHARGES WHATEVER?
COMPANY IS SUPPOSE TO BILL ONLY FOR PROPER AND / OR UNINTERRUPTED SERVICES.
MY TIME AND MONEY BOATH ARE WASTED ALONG WITH ANOTHER PARTYS TIME AND MONEY AS REPEATED CALLS TAKE TIME TO CONNECT FOR SAME REASON AND THIS GOES IN SERIAL CONTINEOUS EVENTS.
THESE EVENT WERE OCCURING FOR MORE THEN 3 DAYS TILL 15 DAYS.
I REQUEST YOU TO PLEASE HONOUR MY RENTAL WAIVER, FOR 15 DAYS OF MARCH AND MY DROPPED CALL CHARGES FOR THESE 15 DAYS AND OTHER RENTAL CHARGES FURTHER IMPOSED EVEN AFTER DISCONNECTING THE OUTGOING SERVICE OF MY PHONE LINE TILL DATE.
AND MY REQUEST IN WRITING WAS TO CLEAIFY THAT IF MY PROBLEM IS NOT RESOLVED WITHIN 2 WORKING DAYS I WILL BE ENFORCED TO STOP MAKING THE PAYMENT FOR THE SAID MONTH AND THERE AFTER.

Reliance Communication — Bill reason

sir when i was take reliance broadband connection .that time his agent give me surety that you use 1 month free internet your bill i will pay, and after one month i will disconnect your connection,but now sechution is that his agent not payed my bill and reliance comm complain against me,now today[protected] in high court lawyer call me and say today u have date in court and u will not come so we will take some action on you.without any notice his lawyer call me and say this.

Reliance Communications — CHANGE OF BILL PLAN WITHOUT CONSENT

I am using CDMA mobile no. [protected] from 13 jan 2009 and using Tariff Plan Nam: NJBBZR and now my bill plan is changed without my consent or any confirmation from my side from 14th nov 2011.

Kindly help me in this matter.

Reliance Communications — reference number not resolved

I am using reliance postpaid CDMA connection , my number is [protected].
i needed a Internet connection on my handset so i bought a samsung android pop handset for fast surfing, then i made a call to customer care on 5the of January 2012 for activating thee service, but that moment they told me thee charges which was very much high for android handset in comparison to other handsets.
i asked thee reason but thee answer was not convincing, and they told soon there will b some Internet plan package for android handset.
They gave me thee reference number/ticket number which is [protected]
But till present date no information has been given to me. No calls were made by customer care regarding this.
Shouldn't the customer care should update me regarding his complaint number.
and why there is other plan for android sets.
today i got a call to pay my bill.
If they can call for bill payment then why they can not call for my complaints.
I had taken a Reliance communication datacard. In November 2012 I requested them to change the plan from 3GB unlimited to 1 GB plan. I was surprised to see that even after 6 months my plan has not been changed. Even their customer care executives admitted it is a problem at their end but told me to pay complete bill without considering as it was a problem at their end.

I got many calls from their recovery department threating me to make the payment.
