[Resolved] Reliance Communications — UNAUTHORISED CHARGE ON PREPAID CONNECTION | |||
Dear Sir, Iam a Pre paid mobile customer of Reliance Mobile.My mobile no. is [protected].On 21.05.2010 , I have received a message from the Reliance mobile customer care (no.51234) that "your subscription to CRBT Service has been renewed at Rs.30/-for a period of 30 days.To unsubsribe SMS 1003 TO 155223". I have never requested for a CRBT Service through mymobile and I dont even know what CRBT service is. The Company had then deducted Rs.30/- from my prepaid balance.Eventhough I had given messages to No.155223 saying UNSUB1003, my amount was not recredited. So I request you to kindly recredit the amount Rs.30/-(Rupees Thirty Only), unautorisedly debited from my prepaid mobile account. I had also faced the same problem twice of over billing for the services not used by me. Last time they charged me for the Cricket pack 49 which i never subscribed so they reversed it and the caller tunes they are charging 30 Rs on their own without any subscription and this time they charged me 265 Rs for Games, Music station, Ringtone pk and mytune etc. and telling me that you have used all these on 4th of May 2008, and showing me the dates and they themselves are putting the dates and telling me that you have used these services.In my case i didn't even receive the SMS for activation of subscription. when i asked for the senior authority ph number for complaint they refuses to give that also. They are continuously sending the SMS for ringtone packs and music and when i delete those i think they are charging for that also.or they have passed my number to some other person using these services.
It's better not to use their services anymore.
They have to seriously think of these issues as this might hit their customer base soon.

same problem with me. without my consent they r activating the services and deducting money from my prepaid account and nobody is there to listen.. what is the solution?/

d self proclaimed ' # in service provider' rips off pre paid consumers by way o[censored]nauthorised charges like 'music station', 'voice chat', 'talk tune etc'- Rs 30 each. i have lost a sum of app. Rs 300 by way of such charges. it is reported dat such practices r carried out by other service providers also. i want to lodge a stringent complaint regarding the unscruplous way in which i have been enrolled in Reliance services and near about a sum of Rs 2000/- deducted for data uses from last 3 months which i have NOT done.till date i never knew how to activate Reliance music system services.i gt msges from company that(CONGRATULATIONS U HV SUCCESFULLY ACTIVATED ... SERVICES)this was not done by my site.when i make a complaint to custmer care for it they gv me a satisfaction that ur deduct money wl b return u back within 24 hrs.and ur unwanted services will b deactivated.On 4 may 2008 i gt a reduction of 30/-.on 5th may again same amount reduced.on 6th may i get a msg (that ur caller back tune get succesfully activated )and again reduction of 30/-.On 7thmay i get a msg(CONGRATULATION UR MUSIC SYSTEM GET ACTIVATED) and again same amount get reduced.on 7th may near abt 8:30 am.i make a call to custmer care here executive told me that sir this will not be happen again, but after few hrs same reduction...i make a call again to custmer care near abt 4:30 pm.i was SHOCKED to know that these services were enabled. i m not able to do smthing i m a student i cant avail these type o[censored]nwanted deduction.
i want a redressal to my complaint on priority as to how this amt has been deducted when these services were not activated at my cell.expecting an early reply
