Reliance Netconnect Broadband — Fraud Bill , even connection not active | |
I lost my data card (reliance broadband netconnect - [protected]) ,last month 16th (October) 2009 and put a request on 18th and got updated as blocked through customer care by phone on 25th ( ref number :[protected]. But on November checking online status of reliance i saw some usage mentioned ,so i called again customer care about this. How connection can be used when its blocked. They mentioned some issue with system will be rectifying it soon and will update me.( ref no :[protected]. I didn't got any update from them. I called them twice , they said they will be sending me mail but no response. On December I got a bill from reliance for Rs 2300. I was shocked to see it . How this much amount when a account is blocked and how they can send me a bill? I called them again they are not responding. Allays same message our backend team is looking into it. Now finally they are asking me to pay the amount 2300 to terminate the connection. How can this be? How a company like reliance can cheat customer like this? I want to know how can i deal with this legally and i want to terminate the connection. I don't want to stick with such fraud connection and company. There service is such bad and fraud. Reliance Netconnect broadband — FRAUD BILL
first, thanks to https://www.consumercomplaints.in team for running such a wonderful service to help the ones desperately in need.You guys are doing a fabulous job.My complaint is that my reliance netconnect number [protected] 's january bill has been inflated by two times over. My usual fixed bill is Rs 950 whereas i have been served with a bill of Rs 1900 this month. Their view is that i have exceeded my usage by 1.7 GB. I am a well informed netizen and contact reliance customer care from time to time to know my remaining data usage and as soon as i know it's going tom be over, i restrict its usage.It's evident from my past bills. But this was the limit from their part, inflating the bill to twice it's value shows how desperate this company is to extract revenues , by hook or crook.
