I have bought reliance netconnect+ on 24th Jan 2013 evening. Still now I am not able to use device.

The device is not recognized as modem in Red Hat Linux, coming only with ZTE USB Storage FFF1.(Screen shot attached for more understanding)

Issues to be Addressed
1) There is no clear communication steps about how to do activation once I bought device.
2) There is no information mentioned on device box saying it won't support Red Hat Linux. I can able to connect using 159 huwai model but not using AC2738 model. Why product have been released with defect with out supporting Red Hat Linux.
3) No proper identification of problem in initial level ( Neither Shop Nor supplier- Ravi not understood what do mean by detection of device, driver support by OS ).
4) More than 10 days I am awaiting to use data card on my system after I paid Rs. 1999. What kind of compensation can be provided

24th Jan 2013: Evening I have bought data card. Shop Keeper not told that I have to contact [protected] for activation not mentioned anything on data card box.
29-Jan-2013: I asked him why it is not detected still now. For that he asked to contact [protected], I contacted immediately, they told number will activate within one hour. I have tried after 1 hour but failed to detect data card.
30-Jan-3012: Shop owner asked to contact Ravi(Supplier) - [protected]. I have explained him that I have tried in my Linux OS and tried other windows but not detected in any. Ravi asked to return data card to shop then he will check device. And replied with saying device is activated not replied anything about detection of data card device.
4-Feb-2013: Shop owner asked to contact[protected] for complaint. They told data card model not support on Red Hat Linux. I asked for the one which is working in Red Hat Linux OS. They contacted Ravi to handover the device which supports Red Hat Linux OS.

    I am Mohit Kumar, i want to inform you that in the day of 22 Jan2013 our office boy deposited Rs.1200/- cash in Reliance outlets at masjid [w] wrongly in the place of Tata Docomo.

    Actully before 4-5 month am change our service provider from Reliance to Tata Docomo but number was [protected] therefore our person deposited payment in Reliance outlets while no due from our end.

    While our account was zero in reliance co. how they take payment
    If they take our payment by mistake now return our amount immediately
    many time i follow his outlet person he Tell's tomorrow will be clear every tile from 22 jan to as on today.

    Therefor i request you to take necessary action for our recovery of fund.

      As per the last complaint of mine (http://www.consumercomplaints.in/complaints/reliance-communications-money-deduc... I was told to check my balance everyday and make a note of the calls I make so that if Reliance cuts my balance, I can register my complain based on facts.

      Yesterday, on 3rd Feb, I did a recharge of Rs. 74 and subsequently recharged with Rs. 50. My main balance was Rs. 52.34. But, it began to decrease ever since. Every hour it reduces by some amount. It went down to Rs. 46 today, on 4th feb. I called the customer care and they say we don't have any records! What sort of irritating response is this? My money just keeps vanishing and noone cares?

      And this is not the first time! On 1st feb, my balance was 28. It went down to Rs. 0.0 on 2nd Feb. When i called the customer care, he refunded me Rs. 16, but on 3rd Feb, I found again the Rs. 16 had gone down to Rs. 2.3!! I called the customer care again(as if I dont have anything left in my life to do). She replied that i was using internet on my phone - I use only whatsapp for which I already had Plan 16 activated. Considering her reply to be true, I recharged with Rs. 74 in which I get 250 MB free data usage - but, its really frustrating to find my balance deducted without any notice.

      If this issue is not resolved to my satisfaction, this would be my last recharge with Reliance - I am too fed up with this company and its poor service.

      Reliance Communications — deduction of balance without notice

      my no. is [protected] and i have a complaint that my rs.30 balance has been deducted from my balance in against of some service called khel khel me and i have not subscribed 4 dat service .this has not happened for the first time these things had happened earlier also many times earlier also i complaint on customer care no response has been given this time i will go to consumer forum to seek redressel.

      Reliance Communications — Money Get deducted without any intimation

      Dear Concern,

      FYI... I am having a Reliance GSM mobile and facing a serious issue with the subscriber.

      (1)I had activated Do not Disturb service on 22-july-2010 but, even after that money got deducted from my balance and I had a talk with reliance customer care also in this regards more than 10 times..

      (2) And in the month of December I have got many of the calls related to Callertune services and I have received somes messages also from the reliance side in this regards...

      Note:-- If I have activated the service of DND then why I am getting these kind of calls and messages on my mobile No :-- [protected]

      Reliance Communications — Money deducted from balance without notice

      I want to file a case of fraud, cheat and misbehavior against reliance communications, India. I have one reliance gsm sim since more than a year and since i have started using sim these people are continuously deducting money from my account by activating some packages (different types can't even list those) without even asking or taking my permission. And this complaint i want to register on behalf of all those illiterate and innocent peoples who are continuously suffering from these tortures by reliance. They are eating peoples hard earned money by activating some false packages which no one even aware of it and when we call up to there customer care they at first deny to refund the money and also use abusive language. As far as i know there are lakhs of subscribers who are suffering daily from reliance pathetic service. i have personally checked consumer forum complaints against reliance communication, i just don't understand even after so many complaints why consumer court is not taking any serious action against these fraud and cheat peoples. It is a humble request i have struggled a lot against these corrupt people please take some strict action so that they will stop cheating innocent peoples.

      I am really not happy with your services can you please call back or give me the number of the responsible person who is ready to listen to me. Why all the reliance employees are so disgusted i called them and they shut the phone on my face even when i am speaking.

      If you people really not interested in business then please stop your company and do something else

      i purchased two sims after 15 days both got deactivated and after 4 days of hassle with reliance employees webworld, distributors, call center employees everybody they activated only one sim and now they are telling me to again fill the complete form and produce all the documents and photograph. Is this a JOKE??? Can't you people take care of a document. At first you are not providing good service even if i am purchasing sim you are not activating it even though all the documents are ok. sim got deactivated just because i did not received any call from them. IS IT MY MISTAKE???

      Please please please i have lost my cool and mental stability because of these disgusting people and now i am no longer interested in their bloody pathetic services. I have a humble request please do take some strict action against these peoples they keep on doing the same thing again and again under the nose of the government.
      Today again Rs.30 have been deducted from my account on the name of some package. Please can you tell me why are you people harassing me by doing all this. This is my 10th complaint in a month. I think now if you can not do anything i have to do something for it. I have to change my service provider for all my 5 reliance numbers.

                i am a reliance customer since 4 months, and i got a message two weeks before that i have to submit my proofs for simcard verification , i submitted my proofs for two times and i even got a confirmation message that my documents are processed but suddenly today on 1st of february they have restricted my outgoing calls and incoming calls facility and also have blocked my internet as well. when i called up in customer care, they said me to resubmit my identity proofs again.. i am very disappointed by this behaviour of the company, which is asking for documents submission again and again,, please help me out,

                  FRAWD & FALSE COMMITTMENT BY RELIANCE NETCONNECT EMPLOYEES-----

                  my reliance netconnect 3G No. is [protected]. i have been consistently harassed by your extremely unproffesional, abusive & illmannered staff. i got a call in the month of november from one of your executives to pay the bill of Rs 1500/- instead of combined payment for two months of Rs 1800/- & he offered me Rs 300 wave off. i imideately made the payments, against which my netconnect was still not working and even Rs 300/- wasnt waved off. when i called back that executive he refused to do anything and started abusing me when i consistently asked for waiver he promised on behalf of reliance netconnect department. then again in december same thing happened when i was asked to make the payments although my inspite of paying Rs 1500/- my netconnect wasnt started. then there was this lady who promised that if i make a payment of Rs 365 then the she will wave off Rs 850/- amount for the month of decemeber for which i couldnt use the netconnect, but this time after making the payment of Rs 365/- & clearing all the dues my net connect was started. now again on 25th jan 2012 i am receiving a mail from reliance net connect that amount of Rs 398 is pending from the date 7/10/2012 to 7/11/2012 ????????????????....what kind of harrasment is this ???? now inspite of talking to me on my mobile phone they are calling on my landline no. and harrassing my wife to make the payments & told her that they will send an executive to receive the payment.
                  i have no issues in making payments but i need a complete clarity on my billing status. otherwise i will be forced to file a case against frawd and harrasment against me.

                  kindly give me complete clarity because from now on i am not going to trust any of your employees committments made on phone so i need everything in writing through mail.

                  Reliance Netconnect — Complete Harrassment

                  My name is Himani Saini and my connection number is [protected].I had taken the connection from Gandhinagar,Gujarat in August 2010 and i have been doing in the cash payment at the reliance centers but since February 2011 my payments are being done from Reliance outlet,Ajmer.I have a National plan and as the company quotes to pay the bill from any of the centers i being a loyal customer paid all my bills on time.What i have suffered is an addition of late fine every month , my connection getting barred during my exams , harassing calls from the centers during office hours.I have politely so many times registered my complaint to the Reliance customer care but even for this month i have received late fine , a mail that i have not paid the bill.My only question is are u really reliable??? should i still continue with the service ? We all can threaten each other but the point is we don't improve doing this.Please bring notice to this problem and till the time no solution will come i will spread my word to each forum possible so that people should know what a mistake it is to be a Reliance customer.

                  Reliance Netconnect — regarding billing

                  Dear Sir / Madam,
                  I have got reliance net connection through a sales executive of reliance communications limited in the month of September 2011. I have paid rs.1299 as security deposit to get the data card. I have opted for 500 rs plan with controlled billing service. September month bill was 410 rs i have paid it. Then i checked with customer care regarding my bill plan, then only i came to know that my connection is under 800 rs plan. After that i called the sales executive to change my plan; he asked me to contact customer care. I called them and requested to change my plan. They said it can be done from November month only; i replied them that i will pay only 500 rs only. I got the October month bill for rs 800+. I have spoke to customer care thrice to send the revised bill. Till now i have not got the bill. Now they have sent me a letter stating i should pay the bill within 7 days otherwise they will send me court notice.

                  Request you to do the needful. I am ready to pay the bill for the amount i opted.

                  Reliance Net Connect — False Commitments

                  I have purchased the Reliance Net Connect ([protected]) connection by paying INR 2500.00 (3 months advance rental plan) on 15th Nov 2011 with the assurance of 3.1 Mbps downloading and 1.8 Mbps uploading speed however till now I have not been able to avail the services as per the commitment. On top of that Reliance sent me bill of INR 110.00 which I didnt pay and eventually they suspended my service. Best part is their Customer Care team and Nodal Officers, full of false promises and commitments.

                  I want my money to be refunded for not getting the services promised and for the mental harassment i have gone through with the entire Reliance team I have interacted with....They all Hopeless and Inhuman!!!!

                  Advise for all, Please donot fall into the trap of Relaince Sales Executives..they are the biggest liar on planert earth!!!!!
                  I got a call today and also a bill from Reliance and now i am sure that they can do anything to harass the customer and not willing to resolve their issues. Archana called me and from the beginning of the call she never empathize and kept on saying that whatever happened was absolutely correct. I am not amazed now. So this how Mr. Ambani making so much of money by cheating his consumers. GREAT GOING GUYS...

                  Best part is the way they trained their Customer Care Representatives, Highly Disrespectful, Rude and fools..

                  Sorry to say its HOPELESS!!!

                  INDIA IS GOING DOWN... CORPORATE'S ARE LOOTING THEIR CUSTOMERS AND THERE IS NO LAW AND ORDER TO PROTECT US!!!

                    IN MY VILLAGE RELIANCE TOWER HAS BEEN INSTALLED.BUT IT DOES NOT FUNCTION PROPERLY.
                    PER DAY THE NETWORK SIGNAL FAILS HOURS OCCURS MORE THAN THE NETWORK COVERAGE
                    OCCURS HOURS.THIS IS HAPPENING MORE THAN 3 MONTHS.REGARDING THIS PROBLEM MOST
                    OF THE PERSON WHO ARE ALL USING RELIANCE COMMUNICATION NETWORK GAVE A COMPLAINT.

                    i am a customer of reliance mobiles since 3 yrs.. i m living 14 km at NH-24 from Moradabad city (U.P.)... Its very sad to say that only relis=ance networks are creating problem in this area. No network coverage or very low network coverage by reliance. Networks of other telecoms (Airtel, Aircel etc...) are providing us good facility but only reliance is working pathetic. Shame on this reliance company after being india's no.1.. please look at my problem.

No network coverage or very low network coverage by reliance. Networks of other telecoms (Airtel, Aircel bsnl are providing us good facility but only reliance is working pathetic.                     naguneri to 40 km longest the ramakrishnapuram village. the villege is very very very poor network i already complaint the raliance costemer care but it is not response please the tower to the ramakrishnapuram

                    Reliance GSM service is the worst of all and on the top of it they claim to have resolved the problem without resolving the complaint. It has poor network, at more then one places signals goes off. the voice quality from opposite side is extremly poor and it breaks and leads to drop of calls.

                    I am a customer of Reliance communications, since from 5-6 years having few GSM as well as CDMA(post paid as well as prepaid) connections.

                    Right now I am residing at Duvvada, Vishakhapatnam – 530049.

                    I would like to bring to your notice that people here are facing network problem in GSM connection. Comparatively CDMA connection is doing good.

                    GSM Network is not in constant & keep fluctuating, arising problems like call drops, voice break & one way hearing etc.

                    Please consider this problem seriously & resolve the issue at the earliest, People are really fed up with this problem in this particular area.

                    Hi Myself Puskar Banerjee using a postpaid number [protected] from 5 years in Guwahati Assam. Now this burning issue of network faced on regular interval, There is no network signal in every now and then specially in the indoor part & A Pathetic response from customer care department, they lodge complain everytime i call but no improvement get noticed within the given time frame, Moreover its not possible to case against that complain number I have lodge complain & shared this problems to [protected]@relianceada.com but only i received a greetings auto generated mail rest no improvement noticed. I am have loitering of this issue from long time if this is the best level of service you are going to offer then i have to move out in search of out service provider.

                    So i would be awaiting for feedback, Please do respond on top most priority.

                          I have receive continuous calls from the number '[protected]' that seems to be a landline number from 'Nizamabad' Andhra Pradesh. The person introduced himself as reliance communication representative and asked me to convert my number to Reliance pst paid number. When I refused, he started abusing me and said that he will stop calling me only if I will move to reliance post paid.

                            I subscribed the internet 3G service of Reliance Communication in the month of September. After using this pathetic service for couple of months, I decided to switch over to some other internet provider. Accordingly, I raised a request for service termination on 21-Dec-12. However, I received a bill in January, which charged me from 22-Dec-12 to 19-Jan-13. When I enquired regarding this, I was told that since I used my internet till 19-Jan-13, I have been charged for the same.

                            My point is that when I raised a request for termination, it is the onus of the service provider to terminate it within the stipulated date. Moreover, I never used this service in 2013 and hence I don't found any reason why should I pay this amount.

                              Reliance Telecom — Recharge Failure

                              Dear Sir/Madam

                              I am a user of reliance mobile connection. I have made a recharge worth Rs 496 dated 3rd october from icici bank online website, the transaction was successful but i received a sms from reliance stating that the recharge was unsuccessful. I went to reliance web world at Tollygunge phari there they said that they have stopped the 496 service. But when I asked for the refund of the money they said they will not give the money back straight on my face. They are not providing the service and still charging the money which I think is illegal, I have also consulted with my banker(ICICI Bank) they said that the money has been successfully transfered to the account of reliance.

                              Reliance cell - online payment — Online payment option does not complete transaction

                              This is in line 3rd month that I have been failing payment transaction on Reliance web site -http://bill.reliancecommunications.co.in/webapp/portal/servlet/LoginServlet
                              The payment option using netbanking does not go through. The URL changes to the option selected, but do not reach to the netbanking URL site and show their login page. Thus payment option does get through. Even after sent mail to service desk after missing the deadline for payment during last month, this month the web site continue to give the same issue forcing me to miss the dead line again. On top of all today the web site is not recognizing my cell number and throws an error - Confirmation of Your Login - Either this is a prepaid phone number or a postpaid phone number which is not valid.
                              This is absolutely pathetic. Being such a large company, their technical staff does not pay attention to the revenue generating options of their business. Feeling sad to address issue like this, but can't even think one can be so ignorant in this competitive world.
                              The netbanking option works fine with LIC online premium payment - having netbanking option choosen. Same is the case with IRCTC railway booking using netbanking payment option.
                              Anil Ambani can't pay attention every where. People under him should ensure it's revenue source work fine, as they are paid for it.

                                I have recharged 150 amount twice and both time i will get full talk time but after 2 days when my wife is going to make a call they say recharge your mobile you don't have sufficient balance then i called to reliance customer care, initially for 2 days they continue say our server is down so they are not able to tell me where my amount is deducted,after three days they told me that your 117 rs are deducted in internet uses but they don't have any record for 183 rs,after that they cut the phone.On 4th day again i have called to customer care then after lot of explanation and discussion they take my complaint and told me that within 3 days you will get the money back, but when i called after waiting 3 days they say you file complain after 3 days so we are not going to give you money back and this time customer care executive is taking very rudely to me and he don't want to listen any thing from me.                                     I took 2 new RELIANCE internet 3G connections on the first week of December.The 2 numbers are 1>[protected] and
                                    2>[protected]....Both were having the 10 GB plans.The second no. is being used in the SAHAPUR area where my in-laws stays and the first number in BEHALA SENHATI AREA.The first no. was not working properly from the very first day.it was giving download speed in bytes.It was giving much lesser speed than a 2G connection.I went on making innumerable complaints to the customer care but of no help.Even the first number was also having the same problem but just because i use the second number just to check my official mails I did not complain that much for it.But even after complaining so many times against the second no.([protected]) they could not give me any solution.Few of the complain numbers are the following[protected],8589,1226.I approached the RELIANCE store in New Alipore area from where I took it.I was advised to write a written complaint against those two numbers to the CHOWRUNGEE office.I wrote that but again no solution was there.This second number is being used in the SAHAPUR area.I was then informed by one of the executives out there that there is a prevailing problem of network in that area for a very long time.So after complaining for so many times i asked them to take back the dongle and disconnect the connection.Now all of a sudden they started claiming after this that i have used up my total 10 GB that is why I am not getting speed.That is ridiculous.When the connection is not giving speed from the very first day and i have went on complaining that I am unable to use it and have kept aside then how come i can use up the total 10 GB and when I was even informed by the customer service people that the SAHAPUR area has a prevailing network problem.Even after all these they are saying I have to pay up the amount of my 10 GB usage which i have not done.They are not even disconnecting the connection.When i went on complaining to the New Alipore store one of the person out there started misbehaving.I would specially like to name him.He is Mr. GAGAN AGARWAL.He was chewing some ghutka or pan masala putting both his legs upon the chair started behaving with me as if I am his servant. This happened when I asked him to take back the dongle.He started abusing me with filthy language and went on sticking to the point that they do not take back any dongles and i have to pay up for it.This was the solution!!!!! I am really disappointed with RELIANCE.I never thought that a company like RELIANCE could do such type of things.I want to surrender both my connections now and if possible the dongles also.I have already paid up a bill of Rs. 549 of the no. [protected].I got a new bill day before yesterday for the no. [protected] claiming that i have to pay Rs.1132.98 where a Rs. 100 extra is being charged for late payment.Now tell me how am I supposed to pay if I am getting the bill after 14 days of due date.It is even mentioned that if I do not pay it before FEB 1 I have to pay more extra Rs. 100.Is it justified?????Please help.

                                      I have bought a SIM in starting days of December.

                                      I have told that its' work fine. From that days I not got any call on my phone nor I am able to make any call. I try to make call but No signal everytime. Sometime it's show me 1 or 2 signal but it's never make me able to call anyone.

                                      I test DOCOMO, AIRTEL, IDEA, of other people on another phone on my phone. other sim work fine. Now I want to know how to get rid from this trouble.

                                      Company respond me on mail that it's will work but it's never work. I have told that it's will be solved but it's not worked. I don't know if they have any shame because now 2 months passed on a singal issue.


                                      Now, Can reliance tell me what they do if this happen to them. I never found this service useful for me as I write too much for this. this is totally #rude service I have seen.
