[Resolved] Reliance Smart Card — Lost Sim Complaint. | |
I'm using Smart Card "Pre Paid Connection" since last 5 years. In early phase when I purchase this connection there was no such system for filling up form while purchasing. Now, My Hand set is being lost on July 01, 2008 while travelling. When I asked for restrict the outgoing calls from my card the representative of reliance smart card customer care said, "that cannot be done". First you go to Police Station and lodge 1 complaint. I didn't understand that why these people can't restrict my outgoing calls. If any thing happens or any incident happened with my Connection who will be responsilble... I don't know where to approach. Police Peaple asking for Form which I filled to lodged the complaint and money for lodging the complaint too. They are asking to get an affedevit done too for the connection is being used by me and its in my name. Please Suggest . Regards; Was this information helpful? | |

truly said i also agree i also have lost my handset as well as mobile number in it.which was very important for all call for interviews was I used to receive on that number.
[protected] was my contact number issued in jalandhar (punjab) and now i am in delhi so it is very difficult
to immediately go back to jalandhar and do all these proceedings.
so there must be some criteria to handle these kinds of grievances.

pre paid smart card — lost sim
Dear Reliance Service ProviderThis is to bring to your kind notice that every service provider helps preventing misuse of lost mobile/SIM cards by blocking it immediately. Of cource geniness of the caller is ascertained by inquiring personal details. FIR is lodged anyway, and that remains beyond debate. This even Reliance does in places like Delhi.
However, in case of loss of my mobile bearing number [protected] I have been asekd to follow a long route to lodge FIR and only then this could be done. I presume it to be non-starter. I am in Delhi and it would be difficult for me to reach home (Bihar) leaving behind important work here. I am trying to arrrange for the lodging of FIR. But I request you to block the SIM any way to prevent its misuse.
