[Resolved]  Reliance Super — Bad Repairing Service of DVD Player

I have purchased a PG DVD Player from Reliance Super Mart, Mundra Road, Bhuj on dtd.08.01.2009 vide Bill No.0056 dtd.08.01.09 issued at 14:02:04 hrs. The cost of the said DVD Player is Rs.1349.00 and the guarantee/warranty period of the same is 6 months from date of purchase. The DVD Player was deposited Reli. Shopping mole on dtd.06.03.2009 for repairing purpose and I have received a receipt for the above Player. However, no where it is mentioned about the Serial No. of the Player which is mandatory as per the Rules and regulations prescribed by the Govt. of India for Customer care. Hence, it is very difficult for any customer to find out their DVD Player, which was deposited at your office/shop for repairing.
As informed by your sales person, who is looking after the sale of electronics items on the First floor of your shop, the DVD Player, deposited by me on dtd.06.03.2008, is required to be sent to Ahmedabad for repairing and will be received back from Ahmedabad within the 7-8 days. So, again I have visited your shop after 10 days for collection of my DVD Player but you informed that the sales person (receiver) of my DVD player is not available. Again I visited your office and received same reply from your office/shop. I have also booked complain on 20.03.2009 at your Mumbai Office through toll-free phone number of your Mumbai office. Then after, I received a call from Bhuj shop that my DVD player was received from Ahmedabad and accordingly I may collect my player at any time. I visited your shop to collect my DVD player on dtd.25.03.09 but your sales person could not find out my player form the other damaged players lying at your shop of other customers and informed that your sales person (receiver of my DVD) is not available hence it is not possible to find out the DVD. Again I visited you shop on dtd. 27.03.09. Your sales person informed that actually you have received the DVD player on today i.e.27.03.09 from Ahmedabad without any repairing, hence, it is required to re-send the player again to Ahmedabad for repairing. However, it is a fact that your sales person have offered me another DVD Player of other customers, which is also a damaged player. I rejected offer and again booked a complain at your Ahmedabad office telephone no.[protected] on dtd. 29.03.09 at 19.40 hrs. & 20.34 hrs. Also. Mr. Jignesh, the receiver of my call, replied that they have not received back the DVD from Bhuj Shop. He contacted with Bhuj shop and at 20.46 hrs. he informed to me “ I will personally looked after the repairing work of your DVD and will dispatch your DVD to Bhuj shop. You will get your DVD on or before Saturday (04.04.2009).”
Thus, I have so many times contacted your Bhuj Office, Mumbai Office and Ahmedabad office but result is NIL except a goods reply from Mr. Jignesh. I, hereby, inform you that I will claim against you for enhancement of Warranty period from 6 months to 7-8 months (the enhance period is the days of my DVD player lying with your shop) and to pay me the other cost such as my visiting cost (vehicle fuel etc. from Madhapar to Bhuj), as after a lapse of 24 days I have not received my DVD Player.
Thanks a lot giving me an opportunity to produce all above difficulties before the Public of India so that people of India take care before purchasing any electronic items
