[Resolved]  Reliance Telecom — Conversion from postpaid to prepaid

To the Concerned Person,

I have been using Reliance as my telecom service provider from Aug 2011. From then i have been having problem's with the services. Some times it is Internet some times poor network sometimes additional charges. So i decided to move on to some other service provider after converting my number to prepay. 1652012 i placed a request to convert my number from post to prepay. They asked to pay some additional charges because it will take 5 days to convert my number. I paid Rs 1087.00 to start the process of converting the number from post to prepay the same day in the customer care office. I got a call on the 255 that is after 9 days saying that within 24 hours my number will get converted. However it never happened. Then i called their Complaint office [protected] on the 305 about the issue, I spoke to a Manager called Vanita from that office and she promised that if i don't use the phone for that day my number will get converted. I did not use my phone for that complete day and yet today 315 my number is not converted. I called the same number again and now i spoke to Sagar, he has a new story so say. He wants me to pay extra money since they could not transfer the number from post to prepay in the stipulated 5 days, they want me to pay for the phone calls i have made but the matter of fact is my number should have been a Prepaid number by now so since they are so incompetent why should i pay. Hypothetical situation they will not convert my number for another 3 months so they will expect me to pay for that also. I have recorded conversations with both the employees of Reliance Telecom to prove that i am right and they have agreed that it is their mistake, but they are saying that they wont reverse the charges.

Telecom Company — conversion of postpaid in prepaid

before 3 weeks i requested to docomo gallery in ratnagiri to convert my postpaid mobile connection to prepaid and paid all unbilled and outstanding amout instantly. they told me within 3 working days we will convert ur postpaid connection in prepaid but till date it is not converted and i am also not using that connection. now bill will generate without using that no. if i paid all the amount before due date and not using that connection then why to pay bill. and they are not supporting me. they always told that ur request is under process. and docomo customer care told there is no any request to convert post to pre. what to do!
