[Resolved]  Relief India Trust — Fraud NGO.

Address:West Delhi, Delhi

this trust is indeed a fraud. I got a call from this trust by a student call Richa and Seior volunteer call Puja Kaur from No. [protected]. This was in the the month of April. As per the call they needed a donation for a 8 yr old Boy Manoj. As per the call they are able to collect most of the month and are short of Rs. 22000. They gave me repeated calls saying with this left over money of Rs. 22000 if collected they can get the surgery fo the boy done by April end. Some how they made me agree to there story and I made the contribution of Rs. 22000 via ICICI Net bacnking into there account. On receiving the money they mailed be a receipt soft copy and said the surgery is due in April end.
Today they again gave me a call asking for more money for some other case. I just happened to browse the net and found this blog. Here I saw they have been asking for money for Manoj from other clients even in May when as per conversation with me the case is closed. This too some extend confirm they are fraud.
I somehow got the number of Manoj father [protected] and called him today 13th June 2012 and till date that poor family as no clue of the money and are still waiting for some help from Govt AIIMS to get this surgery done.
THIS ORGANISATION IS FRAUD AND PLEASE DONOT CONTRIBUTE.

Got a call from a lady named Akanksha Sharma (+[protected] from savelife.org asking for the donation to a child undergoing treatment in AIIMS. She said the baby has holes in her heart and need to undergo costly treatment. When i heard this it sounded similar to how reliefIndiatrust(RIT) guys used to talk to me (I donated few times though small amounts). I got suspicion and asked how she is got my number. Then she said I donated few times (but i donated only to RIT) and she got the list of previous donors. So, I started asking question to prove their authenticity she tried to divert the topic by talking about patient's background and humanity etc. later she disclosed she works for RIT.

Now i got some more doubts,
1. If she works for RIT why did she say that she is working for SaveLife.org
2. Is reliefIndiatrust (RIT) itself Authentic?

Then googled abt RIT and to my surprise it looks like a fake NGO, exploiting people emotionally.

These people need to be punished.

Guys please check the authenticity of NGOs before you donate. Saddest thing is knowing that you are cheated even when you genuinely tried to help someone.

This all are old posts from 2012, but this organisation is working 2016 in same manner asking for donations with common script ... When you refuse to donate they say it is due to she/he is not your own .. God will judge you now an all... Thanks to all comments. It help me to understand fake calls
I too received the call from this scram from this no [protected]. They said (.. plz type www.ngo.india.gov.in then see NGO DIRECTORY below that search vo/ngo then put UNIQUE ID 81349 search click on RELIEF INDIA TRUST n see www.reliefindiatrust.org u have to clik "SUPPORT A LIFE thn u got details of baby PAYAL n DONATE plz be part of this noble cause. I m wting
volunteer mention (subarna)..) I transfered 2000 rupees but the transaction was failed after 10 min they call me back they said u did not transfered the amount...I said I transfered the amount BT it was failed...they said make it in 5 digit ...after few second I clicked on that site BT nothing WS mentioned and that site WS fake
...I also went through the reviews and comments of others they also mentioned that this site was fake... They call me I said mc BC chutiya bananeka dhanda band Karo I will give the no to police station. They cut the call n uske baad call nahi aya..
It is understood that these so called volunteers visit AIIMS and other hospitals and look for genuine poor child patients whose parents are unable to pay for operations or medical bills and by promising help they gather the patient's details and copies of their medical investigations.
And the innocent parents/relatives of the child patient's provide these volunteers all the details of patient with a hope of getting some help.
Now these volunteers upload these details on their website and make panic calls to unsuspecting prospective donors to ask for donations and provided their bank details for money transfer.
But they never give contact details of patients or their parents/guardians for the donors to check with the patients whether they actually received any help.
But these volunteers never turn up to the patient for help.
So never believe these volunteers.
DO NOT DONATE OR ENCOURAGE THESE ELEMENTS
