ROSE GAS AGENCY — New connection - additional tariff

For new connection we need to buy gas stove and accessories mandatory. So the total costs comes to 5000 for new connection. Even if you have new gas stove we need to buy it. I mean if you want public money go and beg for it.

After 2 months fight with IOCL and rose gas i found they all have tieups. So if you make a complaint there will be no response. I have talked to local indane support guy Ezhilarasan [protected] asking about the tariff for new connection. And he said contact the distributor and switched off the phone.

Next i contacted Vaidehi Vasantham, Senior Manager 24339247 and she was responsive. But i couldn't able to meet her directly when i went to IOCL office in SIET. I asked about meeting the manager and they said its not possible. They have a complaint center where the TL is a lady called chitra and she has tie-up with rose agency for sure :) . She made a call in front of me to rose gas and then said to me you will get the gas connection and they will not insist you in buying gas stove if you already own it.

I came back to rose gas in next 30 minutes and talked to the manager of rose gas agency. He replied "Yea we got the phone, but if you want a connection here then you need to buy the accessories. You can go and complain anywhere but you cannot do anything".

I called back chitra and she said "You misused my name in getting a connection. You said about insisting the gas stove but you went and used my name in rose" and she hangup the phone. I mean WTF i have all the documents ready and i dont want to pay something which i don't want and forced to buy.

See "chitra" fool why does a customer comes to your office in a working and hot sunny 12 pm to drink cool drinks in your office? or to complain . If you want to play hide and seek do it with your kids not with customers.

So who the [censored] is controlling indane gas distribution, Is it distributors or the indane ?. Please Indane guys i agree every business cannot run with good ethics that too in india, but it doesnt mean you can steal money publically. Clean up the mess you have created, First force distributors to employ educated guys not some gundas, rowdies or uneducated fools.

I have visited rose nearly 5 to 6 times and all i find is they treat customers badly, its not just me. I saw many hopeless face sitting for new connection. I did find lower class people who were really unhappy with the tariff :( .

Ok to finish off i did a research on this for 2 months and i found this

1) Sp muthu agency, velacheri - charging 5400 for new connection
2) Sabha Indane Gas Agencies - charging 5600 for new connection
(They both provide gas stove - i think sunflame is the brand and its mandatory)

All these distributors have a tie-up they will not cross in others area, So you cannot go to another distributor even if the distributor is in your area.

And i checked in

They charge 4000 for single cylinder and 6000 for double (They will provide 3150 in bill for double for single around 1650) and rest is black to them :).

So its evident corruption is very open in a gas agency. Either its indane nor HP they know clearly about this. They dont care about the public since we don't do anything silent or voilent. But things will change for sure. I hope atleast in 50 years these companies will be run by human beings lol!.

Funniest thing is they got full rating in indane for last quarter :) . "Empa ithula kodava uzhal pannuvinga" :)
