[Resolved] Sansui 29inch Tm Television — shamelessly poor service | |
i made a very big mistake when in 2004 i bought a Sansui 29inch Thundermaster TV. It has a regular failure rate of 6 months. and this time the service has been so poor or yet non-existant. i made a complaint on 5 nov. the first visit by a technision was on 29 Nov (first by a person named mahavir and then by Dheeraj). the first attempted repair was carried out on 05 dec and money prombtly collected for the repair wich lasted only for one hour, after which the defect reoccured. the next day the technician (i hope he is one) arrived and removed the main circuit board for workshop repair and just vanished.3 days later when it dawned on us that the man may be a fraud we started contacting him on phone. he replied the first time and thereafter has been refusing to answer. finally i got in touch with the company service incharge at gaziabad (mr upadhyay). he put me on with mr. sharma who heads the sansui division who confirmed that the TV MCB was with them and had been repaired. now, since 10 dec he has been promising to have it fitted back by 'TODAY', which is yet to arrive. therefore, not only have i got stranded with a poor product but poorer service support. the company has been proudly advertising that it is a leading Japanese product. trust me if this is japanese quality, we are better off with cheap products from third world countries.
