I Mr. Rohit Gupta had purchased a 32" SANSUI FONTES LCD TV on 24 January 2010. The set was working fine until October, 2011 when it started giving problems.
The TV after 15-20 mins stopped responding to remote and the panel switches also stopped working.
Thereafter I called the SANSUI customer care , and recieved an SMS with the servie engineer name.But the service Center never gave me a call, until 15 days , after which i was told of AMC plan called Happy Care(By the Service Center SNOW COOL REFRIGRATION,BALASORE) that would take care of my TV and I shall be charged regarding the PCB board.
But due to some personal problems , i waited as I could not pay approx Rs. 6000 that I was asked to pay.
Now on Oct 29th,2011 , I was called by the Service Center Engineer (Mr. Janmejay Giri) regarding the AMC plan.I then agreed and took my LCD set to the service center.
After a couple of Hours , I was shown a working TV , but told that the Remote still wont work and they would procure the Sensor parts from Bhubaneswar and replace it by Wednesday.
I thereafter paid a Sum of Rs 5510 towards (Rs 3861 for Happy Care AMC Plan for 1 year and PCB card and Service of Rs. 1650 ).
The service engineers never visited us till Thursday today and brought and fitted a new PCB board , why to changethe sensor component only , but we shall replace the whole Board.
During that I found that they fitted a very old board on the other day, just to get the AMC by showing a working TV set.Now the new board is not compatible and hence my TV set is lying defunct.

Kindly look into the problem, else I shall be left with the only option of knocking at the District Consumer Redressal Forum to protect my Interest after a lodging a complaint of Cheating with the Loacl Police Station.
