[Resolved] Sansui TV — Poor Quality Product | |||
I have purchased Sansui Hardrock 2003 model. For the past few days the picture has faded & some times the screen becomes blank. One more customer has lodged the same complaint on this board. As per the technician the CPT requires replacement. Though the CPT is now out of warranty, the fact remains that the company must have deliberately purchased poor quality CPTs at a bargain price for maintaining low price of the product in the market. The whole lot of TVs produced using these CPTs must be facing the same problem though only two customers (including myself) have reported this problem on this complaint board. I have TVs of other companies which are around 15 ~ 16 years old but even today their performance is better than the Sansui TV in question. The company is not at all consumer oriented. The company should ' honestly ' analyze the FCR of the Hardrock model of 2003 production & voluntarily offer the replacement of CPT, though at a nominal cost to the customers. in case of 2003 model of Hardrock TV, the company has betrayed the consumers.
