Dear Sir,I have received a SMS on my mobile that I am a winner of 200, 000 GB Pounds in 2009 Shell U. K. World Wide Mobile Award. In the SMS, it was written that that promotion was a part of the financial empowerment program of the Shell Petroleum Development Company ( SPDC) of England. It was sent to me by Dr. Ibrahim Ahmed ( [protected]), Prize Administrator, email address: [protected]@live.com. Later on NATWEST BANK PLC, 104 LONDON ROAD, U.K. is also involved and their Director of Remittance Mr. Michael Moyo asked some documents.
In other SMS, I received more or less the same message but it was from Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) of Nigeria and this time price amount went up to $US750, 000.00 Dollars. It was sent to me by Dr. Walter Brain ( +[protected], Prize Administrator, email address: [protected]@live.com. In this case a new bank name was sent and it was NATION WIDE BANK PLC., MANCHESTER, U.K. and the name of its Director was also the same i.e. Michael Moyo.
Above mentioned both Prize Administrators also provided me reference nos. for further communications and email me THE CERTIFICATE OF AWARDS and I also forwarded to the Prize Administrators and abvesaid banks the details of myself, my bank accounts and the copy of my passport as a proof of Identity since it was asked mandatory in their mails.
I do accept that all above is done just because of the faith in the name of such a prestigious company “ Shell Petroleum Development Company”
Sir, since I have forwarded my personal data to above concerned persons, I afraid if it may be misused. I further request the company “Shell Petroleum Development Company” to kindly let me know whether all this is in their knowledge and a part of their marketing/ promotional strategy. If it is not so, I personally request to kindly look into the matter as some people may be behind the interest of the company and the innocent people like me.
I, further, request our Indian Consumer Forum to look after the matter and do the needful so that such fake activities any cheating by such scrupulous people with us could be stopped.

I also get same message from md shell. I farword the mail to security company and pan card for id proof. Afterthat security company demands five hundred pound sterlings to courier agent.
