is rediff cheating or getting cheated?

order no 4484414 (Combo Offer - Digital Dhamaka - 3 Dual Watches)

have received only 2 watches. when asked about the 3rd one there is no responsible response! is rediff cheating or its getting cheated !

please guide

I ordered a book on rediff vide order no 4487526 on 24th March 2008.

The page says the book ships within 7 days. However, when contacted on 2nd April 2008, they are saying that it will take more than 45 days.

I have written to them requesting to dispatch the book immediately or compensate me with double the order amount but there is no response from them so far.

The funny thing is their website still says ships within 7 days. You can click the above link and see. They dont have an idea when their prodcuts will be shipped and written 7 days as the default time for all the products.

I purchase an ELECTRIC RIDEON KIDS CAR by order no 4458983. Which was delivered me on 16.03.2008. After unpacking I found that I doesn't have THE DRIVER SEAT. I immidiately booked a complaint in the format available on their website and called the the customer care. Since then I am regularly mailing my grevience by mail and calling them regularly. Every time I call they just give the assurance that problem will be solved soon. Even their customer care personnel dosnt mean what they assure.
When i track my order for latest dovelopments by "track my order" method, it shows that product delivered to courier on the date of visit to website. I dont know how can it happen.They cant handover a product everyday to courier.
I am really fed up and the only way left to me is to approach the consumer court.
By this complaint I mean to convey rediff that they should solve my problem within next 7 working days or otherwise will approach consumer court (under provisions of IT ACT, 2000) and all responsibility should lie upon rediff and its concerned vendor.

I have booked one 1GB IPOD through Rediff Shopping and the order no is -4427472. Till today I do not receive any thing . The vendor details are as follows :

I wanted to gift some books to my wife on the Valentine's day, so ordered 3 books (Cheaper by the Dozen, Never Cry Wolf, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn) using Rediff online shopping. The order(Order number 4370794) was placed on[protected] and my order delivery date was supposed to be[protected] in Trivandrum. I made payment of Rs. 1188/- using my UTI bank internet banking. My wife did not receive the parcel on the Valentine's day and I wrote a mail to rediff customercare asking about the status of my order. There was no reply. I checked the status of my order using rediff's order tracking website and saw that the order was approved long back, but the delivery was pending by the Book shop Landmark Ltd in Chennai. I tried calling them up, but in vain.There was no answer. I sent Landmark Ltd a mail asking about the status, but no reply.
ow, i'm in a situation where I have paid Rs. 1188/- for an order and there is no news about it. Please help me.

I Had purchased a PANASONIC NV-GS85 DIGITAL from rediff shopping on 18 Dec 2007 and the amount debited from my credit card on 20 dec 2007, I was informed by rediffmail that my item is despatched details as follows

But till todate i havenot received the item even after approaching rediff customer care they have not given any correct details, the courier detail given by rediff shpopping turned out to be invaild, indicating that i have been cheated by rediff shopping. Kindly help me to proceed legally against this web site, to retreive my money.

I have make a purchasing of two gifts from rediff valentine shop, from rediffmail.com. I have make these order at 11th feburary befor 11:00 AM and as per the website at that time they say that they must make delievery on or before 14th feburary on valentine day as it is a valentine gift, but i recieved the shipment on 16th of feburary. I want to make a punishment on this shopping website. how can i register a complant against them. My shopping order no. are 4394679 and 4394659.

Sandeep, I wrote several request to rediff.com to know about my items however i couldn't get any response, at last I manage to got Your details and i want to draw your kind attention before taking any legal action that i waited long almost 7 months had completed but i didn't get my item as yet, may i know why that much deley happend, and finally ever i able to get my item or not.

this happened on rediff bol messenger.
the name of the person was aniket.
he met on chat and told me that they provide dating services in india.
they told me to pay 1200 for registeration.
After registering they said they will send me a file with many profiles.
i was told to deposit the money in icici acnt no
in the name of MS Shera.
after i deposited the amount they said i need to pay 5000 more to get the file.
when i said i was given wrong info they said ok then deposit 1500 for 2 months of service.
i did that and now they even sent me a file but it was password protected.
again i called them and now they demanded more money.
total fake this buggers are cheating people big time.
i would like to know how i can launch a complaint so that in future more innocent people dont get stuck in this.

In the product specification, it is mentioned 1000 W. bUt, product does not have even 100 W. Rediff.com is cheating the people by auction sale.

I ordered 1gb IPod after seeing its advertisement in Mumbai Mirror. I got the delivery in 2 days after placing an order via phone. When I opened the parcel it was altogether a different Ipod than what it was shown in the advertisement in the newspaper. It seemed very superior and impressive in the picture than the one I received. In fact the product I received is so cheap in looks that one will not agree to pay even Rs 500/- I paid Rs. 1499/- for that childish product.
After seeing this I contacted Rediffshopping end number of times. I mailed them on all possible ids provided on the Rediff website but all of them bounced back. Then I ordered the same product to check out if they fool customers with every delivery. When I got the delivery, the person did not let me open the packet before doing the payment for it. It was very annoying. The Rediff guys expect customers to have all faith in their service but they have such irksome systems when it comes to verify them.
When I told them I will put a complaint against Rediff Shopping in newspapers I received a call from them. The people there tried to convince me the product delivered is same but different in looks. And they refused to replace it. Then another call from them said – Our courier person will come you handover the product to him and we will replace it when w have it with us. That means my money is with them, product also gone to them, Rediffshopping does not have any mailing address to chase them…so where will I catch hold of them?....Do they think customers are fools to believe their every strategy.
With my experience, I would like to suggest all those out there NOT TO SHOP ANYTHING from REDIFFSHOPPING to distress yourself for nothing.
The product is lying ideal with me today. It is a useless buy.

I was purchased Kids laptop from Rediff online shopping and they delivered after 15-20 days a parcle but in that other product which was not i purchased. They delivered a remote control helicopter, but i ordered Kids laptop. and when i trying to call the vendor, it seems all time busy so very much days delyas in that. now i contact to auction of rediff, they told me that its only 7 days in our policy. i am not getting any good response from them. please refer our conversion mails as per below and let me know suggestion that what should i do?

I had ordered an i pod through rediff shopping. and had payed amount of 6675 rs through cheque. The product wasnt dispatched on time and when repeated telephone calls were made they asked us to send the bank clearance details. After sending it almost after one month they claimed to send the product through aramex india courier. when the packaged was delivered ,to my great surprise there was no product in it. only its casing was present. When contacted the courier company there was no response and we came to know that the delivery boy had kept the item with him for 1 1/2 days in his house. When contacted both the parties are refusing to accept their faults. Now neither the product or money is given back. I being a student have saved up the moeny for a whole year for this , why should I be penalised??
