ShopYourWorld — Non-refund

I had placed an order with shopyourworld (Order No. 279), on the 9th of september. They promised delivery within 20 days, however, when the item remained undelivered for 2 months, I repeatedly mailed them attempting to cancel the order, however all of my mails went unanswered. The first time I called them and asked to cancel, the executive took down my details and informed me that the order was cancelled and that the refund would be processed accordingly. 15 days or so later, I called again, and asked them the status of my refund. Imagine my surprise when I was informed that there was no request for a cancellation!

I then reconfirmed my cancellation of the order, and waited for a confirmation email. It has since been almost 1 month, and once again I am unable to reach anyone on the customer care line, and my email are not being responded to. I think its time we sent them a notice to pay up the interest for the excess time for which they retain customer money. I am an advocate, and if this issue fails to be resolved to my satisfaction within the next 10 days. I think we should file one collective suit for the return of their money, along with interest and compensation for the harassment that this company seems to be doling out to the people that use it.

Rest assured, I will not be using the services of shopyourworld again.
