[Resolved]  Sony / Bravia LCD TV — International warranty

Recently I purchased a Sony Bravia BX300 32" LCD TV from Thailand.The Dealer told me that I have to register the purchase invoice no in India at Sony Customer Care and I can avail the benefit of warranty, But when I asked to Sony's Customer Care in India they are denying for such type of process and asking for Internationale Warranty Card.

What should I do now. Please help me.

I HAVE SONY BRAVIA 32" FROM DUBAI JUST FOUR MONTHS OLD.NOW SUDENTLY PICTURE PANEL IS GONE AND THE DEALER IN MUMBAI SAYS THERE IS NO WARRATY AGAINST THE TV.BUT WHEN I PURCHESED IT FROM DUBAI CARREFOUR
SHOWROOM THEY TOLD ME ALL ABOUT WARRANTY.PLEASE HELP ME CUS IM WITHOUT TV AND YOU KNOW HOW IT IS TO BE WITHOUT TV AT HOME IN TODAYS TIME
I have also face same problem like Mr. Tiwari.

I have buy Sony 3D TV from Thailand and Dealer advice me to register Invoice online for Guarantee but here in India there is no process to register the product.

So Don't buy TV from Thailand OR first ask to the dealer for INTERNATIONAL WARRANTY CARD.

even i am facing the same problem, i bought it in saudi arabia just 1 week back and now im in trouble as the tv has some problem. serive people are telling that panel has to be replaced.

Mr. John can u tell me how u handled these guys to get your TV work normal.

hi friends, i also face this problem with Sony bravia's display panel damage. when i talked with customer care in India they tell that, i must have the international warranty card. when my brother bought it from Abu-dhabi they told me that, no need any warranty card to get the international warranty service and i'll get it trough just giving the model no.now i'm struggling . do not believe Sony. i'm going to complaint about Sony's cheating through out the media. be careful. robin [protected]
i have international warranty and i went to sony service center and said that my tv blinking red light and display is empty...when we bought tv from soudi he gave bill with computer and he wrote date with pen the service center boy was saying that the bill is not acceptable what i should do ...that is not my problem the dealer was given bill like that but there is same date on warranty card and the bill what the problem...my contact [protected] Sony please help me...

I had purchased this TV KDL-40EX700 from carefour in Doha (city centre) 4 year ago, I moved to mumbai 3 year ago, Last month (July 12 2014) the color was displaying properly had more of Green, logged a case with SONY Authorised Service Centre in Mumbai (Metal Tech Andheri)
A engineer came to my residence and after checking mentioned that the coil is gone bad and need to replace it, To get the coil replacement took him two weeks. once he fixed the coil the TV did not work and he mentioned that the mother board is faulty, (don't understand why he did not find the fault in first place) without any question we gave him Rs4000/- as advance, Now it is almost more that two weeks and the TV is not yet fixed, no one from the service centre bothers to call, This morning 6th Aug 2014 I called the service centre and was told that the mother board is not available, this was a shocker, the TV is 4 years old and no spares available, SONY Being a Giant Company, the person from the service centre wants the bill/receipt of it, like mentioned I had purchased this from Carefour in Doha City Centre.
I would request you to escalate this to higher authorities, and get my TV working

Sony India PVT Ltd gives support for outside country purchase TV only for 1 year. To extend the warranty, have some simple tricks. Call me if you want any help. [protected]

I had purchased a sony 85in tv from uae, subsequently, i shifted to india. I bought the tv in jan 2020;
I had taken a 2 years warranty.
Recently my tv started flickering, i approached the local sony service center for repair / replacement
is the warranty valid.
The warranty says 2 years international warranty.

Dear all, I just purchased a Sony LED from carefore Dubai in June 2015. After installation in India I faced a problem of panel failure. As other cases Sony India denied for warranty. I approached carefore Dubai they gave me contact no. Of Jumbo electronics, Dubai (which is main dealer of Sony in India). They responded very quickly and get approval of my LED from Sony India. Then Sony India repair my TV free of cost.
So I request all of you to contact Jumbo electronics after sales dept. For any issue of international warranty in India.
