Hi Friends, I would like to share with you few information. This is my experience. Please be aggresive while purchase of Sony laptop. Since they are very happy to give below kind of response to adjust thier business profit and also to make customer foolish. Please see the below response for more information.


SONY Laptop problem Model no VPCEG25EN, Serial No 7015424 - LED Screen Trembling
Hi,
My name is Ananth Prabhu, Chennai. I’m using SONY Laptop Model no VPCEG25EN, Serial No 7015424.
I had purchased on 31st December 2011, from ASKI Computers, Ashok Nagar, Chennai. I want to make a complaint about your service center response for LED Screen trembling.
On Monday (7th May 2012), we have given the laptop to your ADYAR service center for LED Screen trembling. After two days, that is today (09th May 2012) morning, they have stated that the problem is normal in this laptop. The reason stated that is while using laptop, the LED screen size may grow big, Because of this, the SCREEN will be shaky.
How is it possible? I don’t understand. By that time, I have raised a few questions to your customer care executive? For those questions, there was no answer from Customer Care executives.

Questions raised from my end..
1. How the screen will be expanding, while using laptop? (No Answer from your Customer Care Executive)
2. If it is not working (LED Screen) after finished warranty, who will be responsible? ( No Answer from your Customer Care Executive )
3. There will be many chances to get crack, while travelling. Since the LED Screen is shaky. ( No Answer from your Customer Care Executive )

So I’m writing this email to you for getting me a proper response and fixed a shaky problem immediately or do replacement.
I have consulted few laptop technicians in Chennai, They are sure that, this LED Screen Shaky is a big problem and saying it has to fix immediately. Also we have the same model laptop, In that we don’t have LED Screen Shaky problem.
Please get me out proper solution for this problem.

This is in response to your mail dated: 09-May-2012 addressed to Service Head regarding the VAIO model: VPCEG25EN, Serial no: 7015425.

As per your query we wish to inform you that the LCD back light will be placed on the bottom of the LCD which will be intact with th e LCD bezel.

In running condition, heat will be dissipated from the back light and due to this heat there will be a minute expansion on LCD.

The product was inspected and confirmed that product is as per the design specification.

We solicit your kind understanding in this regards.

We are using same model laptop in our office, however we have not faced any problem in that. Then how the problem is coming in this laptop?

If this is the situation, there will be many chances to get crack, while travel with laptop. Since the LCD screen is shaky. If the problem is not get solution, get me a replacement or refund. Otherwise I want laptop screen should be fit without shaky.

I'm not satisfied with your answer. Could you please call me and explain?

Where is the result? following up since 7th May 2012(Monday), However they are not giving any positive result. Only that they are saying this kind of shaking problem is available for this model. How is it possible?

Am I mad to buy the product with fault?

Is that possible LCD screen shake in all the laptop module? if does, then Sony product will not buy any customer. Please ask your customer care exectuvies, be responsible while responding to the customer..

It looks like crazy response..

I need to replace the laptop immediately. See, you people are runniing the days without solution. If this is the case to be continued, Defenitely I will have to face this problem with legally.
