[Resolved]  SPA Computers Pvt LTd — Salary Issues /LTA /Medical Issues

Hi Guys,

I am Ex- Employee of SPA Computers Pvt Ltd,. I have worked for the company for 2.6 years, until Mid - April 2010, THis company was in financial probelm from july 2009 june, Normally the salary will be credited by 6-10 of every month,,, based upon previous month working days....... From june 2009 onlwards it started to give the salary in 2 halfs,,,,,means 60% of salary will be creadited by between 10th - 15th and remainig 40 % will be credited by 25th- 30th of every month....

Slowly it started to delay the salary by extending it for 15days then 30 days ...like that they have started to keep back logs of 3 month salary pending by APRIl 2010....WHen i have came out of the ocmpnay by APRIl -2010 they have not given me the salary for FEB/MARCH /APRIL ....

Then this company will detect every month incentives based amount from our salary (SOme things around 10%) of basic pay.....whcih they will promised to give every 6 months once..........whcih they have not given me for 3 years ...untill i came out of SPA COMPUTERS PVT LTD, on APRIL 2010.............then they have not returned my LTA/ MEDICAL amount for the past 2 years ..whcih they todl that they todl franckly that they will not return back........
And also they have detected BOTH the PF EMPLOYEE/EMPLOYER PF from our account...and they are not credtiing it to our account..they are paying this to the goverment once in a year.........

On all of this after many mails and phone calls to them they are not responding to my call or mails ,,, i am pplanning to take leagal

action...kindly let em know what i need to do or how to proced regarding this matter's pls help me....

Below mentiond are the thing whcih they need to gibe to me

1. Salary for last 3 months - around INR 80,000
2. LTA /MEdical --- 15000+15000 == INR 25000 (Excuding tax)
3. incentives -- INR 1.5L to 2.0L

This company is keep on saying to the new joines that the company has improved now, and the company critical time is passed...or not even they will inform that there are probelms like this, , , , So better dont join this ocmpany/...

I[censored] want to risk ur career then uu can join this company...I[censored] dont belive me u can even ask peoples in this company...other than HR people.
THis is my kind advice...and also this probelm they have done not only to me ...but to alll the Ex- Employees...
One has to be great full to the company which has not sacked people during the hard hit recession. Even the big companies you name it have sacked people in thousands and cut down on all the perks. In this case at least all got their salaries though delayed. I have friends who are with SPA for the last 11 & 8yrs extremely happy with the work, culture and environment in the office. The knowledge one gain due the vast exposure in various projects and the liberty to work across domains is not available anywhere else.
Under such scenario one would be rich with knowledge and it would definitely affect the career as it would drive them to new heights.

As far as my knowledge goes this is a 24 yrs company and managed by some great people.

I have worked in six different companies and i understand problems are there everywhere one only needs to know how to deal and cope up with the issues if any.

Happened to check with my friends on the salary delay and was informed that no longer exists from the last three months.

So better watch out before you make a statement on anyone there might be a problem with you itself, the one who cannot cope up with problems in life...
i will give u answers point by point..i[censored] have guts reply to this !!!


Regarding SACKING
Common Gopi, i have all the details about the company...without knowing the staticts dont bluff ..!!!Ok..this company has started to sack people from JANUARY 2009

END..Ok..each month end they have started to sack some 15-25 peoples...ever month unitl april enD...After MAY most of the people has started to leave the company ... DUE TO

UNSUSTAINIABLE NATURE OF THIS COMPANY... And more over i can tell u that this company strenght on DEC 2008 is around 150-200 now it has came down to some thing around

40-50 ..out of this exclude (business development people) arounf 15...+ HR's ...so u have around 15-20 developers...

Regarding PERKS...
Yes big compaines has sacked..i accept tat.. and cut down the perks which was given from COmpany Pocket...Ok...UR Company has cut down all the perks and not stopped taking

extra amount from US...BIG Companie's have atleast given the notice period salary..even some companies has given salary for extra 4-6 months ...UR COmpany has not even

able to give the notice period salary...

Taking about CULTURE, ENVIRONMENT, In OFFICE
1st know the meaning of Culture --- practices that characterizes an organization, institution, shared attitudes, goals,

U know 1 thing, , i have worked wiht ur 11yrs and 8yrs freinds ..I knwo what is their capability...(((witih some 1-2 exceptions guys)))) Does'nt even know what is the meaning of

variable in C language.

SInce u have mentioned about the WORK, CULTURE, ENVIRONMENT i need to say the truth on that...
SPA way of wokring is ...they will promise the customer's mentioning that they can able to complete a prject within 6 months..(wiht a project strenght of 20-30 employeess) but the total strenght of that domain itself wii be around 40...and once the project got signed...they will ask for 20% of the payment..then give some relases in hardware + software like design doc. code...get the 40 % payment..Once u got ur 60-70% of the payment u will become the BOSS..then ur client needs to listen what u say...then by this time ur allowted 6 months will be over then...u will start screwing the customer ...
Telll me 1...1...1.. Project whcih u have completed within the time frame.. or just completed a project with (90-100% )customer satsification...(of cousre many companies will delay by 2-3 months beyond the schedule...)BUT SPA will delay this by 2-3 years..(with provided customer giev more pressure u will try to complte the project...)))) GIVE ME A 1 CUSTOMER NAME WHO iS SATSIFIED WITH UR WORK...

Talking about the ENVIRONMENT[protected] does ur company have a proper chair to sit ...No u have a whcih is so rigid such that it can not be broken evn with crusing...most of the guys who has worked in this company for 2-3 or more has a back probelm ...including me ..due to this chair...does this company have AC...the answer is yes...but no current connection for this for past 2.6 years...Does this company has a proper ventialation atleast...the answer is no...most of the time the dust from outside will affet the employeess health...

this people has asked us to bring drrinking water from Home ...during recession . mentioning that this is a cost cut measure...

KNOWLEDGE...
1st and foremost most of the project's are not complted ..then from where we will get KNOWLEDGE...

24 YEARS OLD COMPANY
Yes this company is 24 years old...but this has came to the embedded market just 6-7 years before...this company is cheating all the other's by mentioning that this is a 24 years company...previous in PLC market... TELL ME 1 things

this compnay senior officials..(i know hsi name..bt dont want to tell here) has begged his employess to tell some gud things about this compnay...y does a 24 years old compnay needs to ask his employees like this...

TELL ME 1 thing ...NAME A single company whcih is not screwed by u in KOREA & TAIWAN...

FOR NEW JOINEES ..who does not want the below mentioned things can JOIN THIS COMPANY...

1. Proper Salary given at exact time.
2. no need of medical and LTA..(detected every month and needs to return back yearly once)
3. No need to INCENTIVES ..detected every month..whcih they will not mention in the salary silp...but will detect monthly...
4.Does'nt care about ur health (likke back probelm(or disk problme)...dust allergy...
5. Eye probelm ...due to the monitor which they provide... for employess all r CRT..
6. does not require ur PF
7. does not require any entertainment in lIFE...

ATLASt they will not releave u so easily..as soon as u put ur paper's...by delaying them to stay and lose their offer...untill 1 month before this company has 1 month notice period ..but since most of the people are left and still some are resiging..they have now kept the notice period as 2 months...BE AWARE OF THIS



IF the guys who is going to joint this compmay are not going to belive me...JUST ASK THE NEAR BY TEA SHOP located near this compnay...he will tell the truth..(who know by this time they could have blackmailed them alos...
Hey dude, looks like you have a genuine problem, get yourself checked up from a psychiatrist. This is not my company and i never claimed that as well.
All i said was i have a couple of friends who are still with SPA and have no problems.
If you has so much of a problem you should have walked out in the first month you joined, one doesn't need 3 yrs to quit now don't tell me they had tied you up in one corner room.

I don't want to get into details as i see no problems here and the created are not mine as well.

Would like to ask you one thing don't you think you as a SPA team member were a non-performer yourself who had not delivered resulting in project delays and unhappy customers, now don't tell me you had delivered everything only others didn't deliver and the projects got delayed.

Lastly for my curiosity i checked SPA has 126 employees, salaries are coming on time, increments have been given and yes you were right notice period has been changed from 1 month to 2 months. Looks like you are spending a lot of time at the tea stalls, have you still not got a job if you already have or looking for please check most of the companies have changed the notice period from 1 month to 2-3 months so that's nothing new.

For your information don't think you are alone, there are lots of other people like you as well check out below and mind you these companies are not mine.

1. are SPA giving proper salary in proper time... (still march /APRIl - 2010 saary pending for EX-employess and current employee's)
2. are SPA crediting PF properly (i have checked with my friends .they have informed me that still PF is not credited
3. are SPA giving the incentives which u have taken in monthly basis. for the past 3 years. (personally for me & also checked with my old freinds working in SPA still and left SPA..has reported that 3 years incentives is gone ...will not be giving backkk...will try to give the incentives for the month of MAY-2010 to SEP 2010..was the message send my superior persons...)

Pls try to understand these questions ...and ask ur SPA friends clearly and answer..still u cant able to understand ..i can translate for u in mother tongue...

it seems ur taking much care for ur friends compaines..other than the company whcih u are working...!!!..kindly be care full.since he is giving out all the confidential information to u, , , and ur posting those thing in website...and also seems like ur freind and u have no job other than ...counting how many employes working in ur organisation...

I have recently quit this company...on 1st week of JULY...they have not given me any salary for past 3 months, and incentives LTA, Medical ect for the past 3.6 years...and also they hevent geiven me experice and reliving letter Kindly help me...

Hi Guys, I too one of the most affected person from this company, I spoiled my carrier by listening to their offers, I could have stayed back in my old company where I had better recognition for my work. They(SPA Computers Pvt Ltd) offered me a good package and shown all kind of incentives + LTA + Medical, ect..., but they dint pay what they are supposed to pay and terminated without notice, I never saw such a worst company in my life. I suggest to new joiners not to choose company which is owned by one man like Chandra shekar and his Son Srinivas Shekar (CEO), worst people, worst environment, worst work culture, they are not fit to run a company. Useless people.
Hi, it is true that SPA computers cheated most of the employees during 2008 to 2010, by all ways as mentioned in the above discussions. i am not sure about past.

I suggest experienced professionals not to join this company.
Only freshers can join this company with least preference as there will be much scope to learn.

This company is not run by any good peoples.. they are just asses sitting and counting the money.. You said out of curiosity you gathered some information.. Do u know the qualification of the person sitting as the finance head??

This company sends the employees to on-site and they stop paying the money in between.. what employees should do without money in a Foreign country???

month, From JUNE 2009 onwards salary was credited by 2 Components... 60% of salary will

Its not a certified company.They have unhappy clients whom thy have cheated taking 40% advance amount. All projects are delayed for 6 mouths to 2 years.

Hello my SPA friends... I want to bring to your kind notice about a person who is very familiar to all SPA employees... He is none other than our Accounts department head ? :-) Mr/Ms Shivaraj ... I have purposely used Mr or Ms because we are all aware that he is a coward who is not capable of answering any of the questions related to accounts ... better he can wear a saree or suck...
He is the one who cheated all the SPA employees with respect to PF, LTA & Medical . With all our PF, LTA and medical amount he has purchased a new van

He says that he is the Accounts head, but he never responds to any of the mails or phone calls.Even if we call he never picks the phone.Then for what reason does the SPA management has provided a phone to him? only CEO, Mr.Srinivas Shekar and MD, Mr.Shekar knows the reason ? ...mother ...
.He never responds to mails..later i found the reason for that ... The reason is he doesn't know to read/write english...
I want to warn the SPA employees regarding the "conveyance allowance" that is indicated in the salary slip . It will be Rs.0 . But as per the law Up to Rs. 800 per month should be given as conveyance allowance which is tax free amount.
If you go to a new company it will be a problem, because when i got offer they asked for the salary break up. When i indicated conveyance allowance as zero, they laughed at me and asked "do your company's accounts department know what is conveyance allowance?"

So friends, be alert and clarify regarding this to your so called " Accounts head " . As you are all aware that our present Accounts head was once a car driver in our company . I am wondering how come our SPA management decided to fill in the Accounts head position with a car driver.Now many employees will come to know why our SPA accounts department is very worst.I have uploaded the photo of that guy.
If anybody finds a chance to meet him, atleast spit at him .

As per my experience
Sanjeev was much interested in loose talks, sex friendship etc, rather than real project work.

He would pressurise for A to Z project work only on employees. He knew only buttering before management.
Hopefully he got not much technical work in new company but some back office work that includes only better communication.

His inefficiency has caused many project failures. SPA gets work done from freshers, but it needs a manager who knows what is project about. For him embedded stuffs were as like coconut in a monkeys hand.

THE MANAGER OF THIS COMPANY DIDN'T GAVE SALARY TO THE EMPLOYEES...THE EMPLOYEES WORKS AS A SLAVE TO GET SALARY..KINDLY TAKE AN ACTION AGANIST THE COMPANY..
I have joined this company as fresher with very high expectations but they have cheated us lik anything, not only me my frnds too.
We have got into the situation such that we were asking every month BMTC pass fees in the compny to come office.
It was really a horrible company which has born to kill the lifes of workers.
They did not give the salary of 3months so we ran away by giving our marks card.
Still these guys are not ready to give the our degree arks card.
Really bull company.
My frnd lost their career n dying to get a job now becuase of these worst people.
