spice d88n — imei number was fake

i have spice d88n phone and i have imei number but imei number was fake what can ido sir pleas help me my mobile do'not working.

My Mobile IMEI NO IS [protected]

My Self Vikas Verma from Jaipur I have Spice D88n handset and in this handset my GSM sim is not working from last few days. It is showing SIM CARD REGISTRATION FAILED. when I check the IMEI No. by the dialing *#06# in my cell it is [protected] and and on the sticker which is pasted under the battery IMEI no. is differant. I am very much shocked what the spice is doing we are blaming chinese handsets, and what is the suretiy of our home production (SPICE)

Recently my spice D88n mobile show me a massage 'SIM-CARD REGISTRATION FAILED' while connecting my BSNL-Kolkata GSM SIM card. I have purchased this mobile from R.S. Telecom, Kolkata on 05-Sep-08, Invoice No. 645. IMEI No. [protected]. My other no Reliance (CDMS) Mob. No [protected] working properly.

spice d88n — invalid IMEI No.

my handset IMEI No. is[protected], that is invalid please tell me about their registration. I have purchased my handset in 2008 from sahara mall. my number is [protected].

I am Satya from Bangalore. I am also facing the same issue. IMEI printed on mobile is[protected]. But when I type 8#06# to find the IMEI, its[protected]. Earlier, an year ago I have checked that my IMEI # printed on my phone is not valid, and I contacted the hotspot people (as per the spice mobile support suggestion) and they rectified it. My phone worked fine for using both CDMA and GSM. Since two months I couldn't use my phone for GSM. So again I checked for the new IMEI HotSpot provided me, again its not a valid IMEI. I really got frustrated with this. My phone number is[protected]. Spice customercare, please do the needful. I am not sure how to refer this kind of phones to my friends. Thanks

this is a normal problem, it may be because you go to service center for software update. and they forgot to rewrite your previous imei, because all the imei no. start with 1 and end with 11220 is a test imei in all chinese handset and in their software. so when ever this kind of device need to update the software imei on sticker have to rewrite.
