[Resolved]  Standard Chartered Bank — Home Loan: Home Saver

Hi,

I agree. I had similar expereince with Standard Charterd Bank Homesaver.

I tried to close the loan after 5 years (without penalty), however now they came with another charge. i.e. I have to pay penalty on the Interest Saved through Homesaver in order to close the loan. This was never in there terms document and you can't find on there site too.

This is malpractice, so if anyone is taking loan from them please make sure to confirm in writing from Standard chartered that they are not charging any hidden charges.

Std. Charter Bank branch located at 23-25MG road, Bombay has one of the most non-customer oriented Branch Manger in a lady named Julie Sharma She has no time to conduct business with existing customers. She has absolutely zero knowledge on Customer loyalty.

never responds to customer complaints nor review the opinion of the Bank's customer on the performance of her staff or discontentment of the service received.

Banks lack of communication on a timely fashion caused me to lose lot of money. The bank sat on a potential deposit of Rs. 340, 000 in a suspense account even after the customer had verified the source of deposit to the Customer relationship Manager.

The business ethics of Julie Sharma and her NRI Banking supervisor are nil. The two together can lead to a customer depleting their funds in the bank faster than a wink of the eyes. Bank needs to a Management change to maintain its Marquis image

Std Charter Bank a Marquis International bank has put tohgether a bunch of carpetbaggers at Mangers and supervisor in their 23-25 MG Road branch. The bank holds on to custoemrs check for 23-25 days without crediting it totheir account and getting interest by having it sit on a suspense account. Customer's are not informed of funds sitting in suspense account, nor are issuer of checks notified of problems on checks.
They take a front end Load of 15-17% and after 5 years you will be lucky of you get 5% return on your investment. The spervisor of this group is one of the most unethicla person you can come across. She will gie you false hopes on loans, crefit cards, and interest rates. You can never trust her, Her iunethical conudct is mind boggling. Julie Shrama and this NRI supervisor together make great Bobsie Twins ready to prsent themselves as court jester in Kin Arthur's court.

A real insult to the pride, and glory of Std. Charter Bank, a premiere Global Banking Institution

Credit card service issues

Useless service. Their customer care will speak 10 different things whenever you call them. They deduct amount at will without any information. Recommend all users to refrain from getting into this card.
