[Resolved] Standard Chartered Bank — CIBIEL - DEFAULTER LIST
Sir, I was holding Standard Chartered Bank Credit card, I returned from USA to INDIA after a serious operation. When I was in hospital of Visakhapatnam, my standard charetered credit card was swiped fro Rs 49,800 in chennai. When I was in hospital I have recieved a statement from the bank, and I raised the disputes and I submitted all my medical records. After that no one from the bank helped me to send all the bank reciepts as well. And I was forced to do a settlement then I transferred the Rs 42,000 as per settlement, even though they did not settle as my signature was not there and its online payment. During that time I was out of india. Once I back from "Netherlands", they made another settlement for Rs, 11,000 and they settled and they gave settlement letter and also issues zero balance statement. During all the times including settlement time, I asked for will it be any issues with Cibil. They told me there will not be such cases if you are going to pay as per settlement. When I apply for a housing loan it was rejected because of my name was in CIBIL, then I approached the standard chartered bank. They asking me to pay remainging Rs 13,000 to remove my name. As I requested and asked for many times they never told me this. Why they were cheating with us, if they want the remaining Rs, 13,000 why they did not inform. If still they are seeking this Rs, 13,000 why they put my name in cibil. If I pay it now, they are willing to remove my name. Even I was ready to pay at the previous settlement itself. Who will be the responsible for the pressure I maintained, and threat I got it from the bank. Please help me in this regard. If there is no humanity, there is no need of business as well. Thanks & Regards Srikanth Veturi +[protected] Was this information helpful?
