[Resolved]  Standard Chartered Bank — Complaint Regarding Uninformed Minimum Balance Charges and Request for Account Closure

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the deduction of ₹1400 from my account due to minimum balance charges. I have held an account with Standard Chartered Bank for the past three years, during which there were no minimum balance requirements, nor was I informed of any such policy change.

This charge was imposed without prior notification, which I find to be highly unacceptable and unprofessional. As a result, I no longer wish to continue my relationship with your bank.

I kindly request a refund of the ₹1400 deducted from my account and an immediate closure of my account upon receipt of the refunded amount. Please consider this my formal request for account closure, and I would appreciate it if the necessary steps are taken promptly.
