i have write to the standard chartered bank of india credit card department as- dear sir, please note that- i have received a massage on my mobile i.e.-HSBC card alert:Cheque received for amount Rs.479.00 for credit card no.***8055 on 10-12-08. Thank you. Payment subject to realisation. sender: HSBC Sent: 12-Dec-2008 09:46:27 and i am seeing in the statement The cheque bounce charges Rs.300.00+37.08=337.08 in 12dec08 so you are requested that please raise the Cheque & credit the same and reverse the cheque bounce charges. but they are not understanding it. how can be liable it. ram prakash sharma [protected] Was this information helpful? | |

My Name is Srinivasan and I have the account with SCB for the past 5 years, Till now in my account none of the cheques are bounced, I gave one cheque @ RS 2500 to other bank and with out my knowledge they have presented the chq and its bounced back due to the NIL balance amount...They have charged the Fee for 500+ Service Tax 34 Rs, Total would be 534 and this is to high, Are they everyone following the RBI rules ? 534 penalty is too high for one cheque @ RS 2500.. Please see my Previous 5 year transaction and reverse the amount.
