[Resolved] Standard Chartered — MANHATTAN CREDIT CARD BILL PAYMENT COMPLAINT
i have a serious complaint for Mahattan credit card payment .please help me with this ASAP .
I am holding MANHATTAN CREDIT CARD, i made a payment of some 26000 from this card .
for the amount i have taken 6 months EMI payment agreement from standard chartered bank .
I always got call regarding payments from collection department of the same bank .
As per the monthly installment agreement bank agreed me to pay Rs. 25974 through six months
installment of 4329 per months.
I always got call from collection dept. to pay me the amount and i paid them the same amount also
but after 1-2 months i used to get calls from collection department but instead of asking me to pay the amount
mentioned as per the agreement they asked me to pay 2000 when i asked why less they told me this is minimum amount you have to pay me
for this month and soon after they always asked for less amount or more amount that too twice in one month also .
i thought something is wrong so i called customer care to check if my payment is reflecting or not ?
customer care told me that your amount has been received by bank but when i asked why i get bills mentioning more amount they told me
you clear as per agreement later it will reflect correct amount .
Now after around one year i have already cleared mentioned amount of 25974 still i am getting call from collection department that your payment is still
And best part is amount of 39000 is still pending .
I have been mentally tortured by collection department calls as they used to call me some 20-30 times in a day daily without fail
and out of so many calls 80% times noone speaks .
last to last month i got call from same department one of them assured me to make some min. payment and your account will be settled
and he gave me one account closing number also . but still its not closed and they make fool every month to get the payment
now what they ask me is to clear payment else my case will be sent to civil .
being a normal serviceman and citizen i dont want to get invlove in all such things so i paid some amount as being asked by the collection dept.
i have already paid some[protected] extra now
After paying extra amount i am still getting the calls
I called customer care they told me to mail all the receipts of the payment along with the EMI settlement letter
i scanned and mailed it to the id head.[protected]@standardchartered.com
i got a reply from some concerned person that you have not made the payment as per the agreement on time so you have to pay full amount
for more inquires i can contact to some concerned person . on calling to that concerned person i been told that they are not responsible for my case .
noone is ready to talk and hear me .
now i am so fed up with total bank responses and daily unlimited calls from collection department of the bank that i have no option left other then
complaining here .
My main concern is that i have not cheated with the bank also i am ready for settling my account but noone is ready to listen to me
and instead of making payment more than the required amount i am still getting bills for the payment of 39000.
Could you please suggest me what should i do ?
Please i need some help ASAP .
