[Resolved]  Standard Chartered / Manhattan Card — Fees for usage of Card

Dear Sir/Madam,

Intially I was carrying a Standard Chartered TITANIUM Creidit card & Latter on I was offered with a StanChart Manhattan Platinum Card, I also bring to your notice that, I have not applied for the same card.& for which I was not asked to sign for any document or application.

Latter on I was charged with Rs3499/- as one time fee, which is conveted to 12 month emi, of Rs 315/- P M. Now even after cancellation of teh card they are not reversing the one time fee & forced me to pay the rest.

Initially when the card was offered to me I was told so many facilities such as : 5% cash back on all purchases without any monthly cash back limit.
But latter on my mail communication with you dated on 06/07/2009 & in reply to that I came to know that "5% cash back on Supermarkets & Departmental stores for spends more than Rs.500.00"
I was also told that I will be receiving one free PVR ticket one booking of one ticket. Latter on the documents it was motioned that on purchase of 2 tickets I may get next ticket free.
In the due course of cancellation I was received a call of discount on amount of one time fee, for which I was not agreed & insisted on cancellation of card.
After Appling the cancellation of card I was not also told about the nonreversal of fee. But on 21/08/2009 over the telecone I was intimated about the cancellation of card along with the reversal of fees, also I was ensured about non receiving of any due statement after wards, by Ms.Madhu.
So all together this is just to cheat with people & drag money from the people.

Kindly consider the above matters & request your help toawrds avoiding such unethical way of draging money from the general public.
