[Resolved]  Stayfit Treadmill — poor service against any breakage of parts

i have bought a stayfit treadmill automatic one with 1 year guarantee. 1month after the guarantee period is over the running pad(wooden) got a crack. when i asked the stayfit service guys to replace they told that guarantee period is over. now when i am ready to pay they are charging double the amount of the running pad. when i called up for reason in Hyderabad where i bought they are saying that this is the cost and its not available locally. when i called up head office Bangalore i was shocked to know the running pad(machine part)value is half the amount.But even from head office no response till now. So easily these guys cheat customers. So i request people when buying this kind of products by spending large amount check whether they are giving more than 1 year guarantee and replacing of parts available locally in India.

I completely agree with this view. We got a cross trainer from the same company. It is creating some problem or the other every 3-4 months. Recently, we faced a problem with the equipment. Stayfit services people are very incompetent to handle the complaint.It is more than 1 month since we registered the complaint. They are very insensitive to this. Every time, we need to call them. They don't bother to attend the complaint. They are very unprofessional. Finally, when they attended to the problem, they were not able to solve it properly. The machine broke down again, which they have not fixed again. Overall, it is a bad experience in purchasing an equipment from Stayfit Bangalore. People should think twice before investing in purchasing fitness equipment from this company.
I fully agree, We have had a very bad experience with Stayfit, they gave us a faulty bike 1 year back and till today it is not rectified, finally they have taken the equipment back and neither paid back the money nor given back the equipment.
I also have similar problem with this company. My T1 treadmill from Stayfit started to be jerky within six months of purchase. The customer care is very insensitive to calls and emails. They never keep their oppointment times, never call back and the incompetent service reps can only oil the equipment and nothing else. Our complaint is two months old and still unresolved. For all the emails I sent requesting for some help, I have record. Stay as much as possible away from Stayfit.
