[Resolved] Sterling Holidays — MIS-SOLD HOLIDAY PACKAGE | |||
I was mis-sold a holiday package from STERLING HOLIDAYS in MAY' 2012. Since I forecasted a financial at the time of signing up, I proactively asked what will be the options if I have a financial situation unexpectedly. The sales person told me that I can get a refund of all payments made or I can downgrade, since I am signing up for a highest package. When I contact STERLING HOLIDAYS - ANDHERI MUMBAI & CHENNAI by phone calls, they told they have any options of downgrade in their terms & conditions. after I told them about the mis-selling, they further added that all payments I have paid till date i.e. 60,000/- nothing will be refunded. I have contacted the ANDHERI MUMBAI & CHENNAI OFFICES by letters and emails, post which I got a response on 25th Sept that I will be contacted on / before 3 working days from that day. After that I have made numerous phone calls & sent many letters, but no one is getting back to me. The customer care helpline @ CHENNAI tells me that the matter is looked by the BRANCH OFFICE - ANDHERI, MUMBAI & the BRANCH OFFICE tells me that the CHENNAI OFFICE is looking into the matter. After 25th Sept' 12, I havent received any update / acknowkledgement / update to my complaint of mis-selling. Out of no options left, I will be seeking legal guidance & actions now. Even after my repeated requests, I havent got any update from your organisation after the one received as a email acknowledgement about my concern & complaint, dated 25th Sept' 12. Shockingly, you have gone ahead & attempted to debit my bank account on the 14th Oct'12 even though I have made repeated communications with confirmations via email & registered post in Sept' 12, to not debit my bank account.
I had a call from Mahipal Yadav last FRIDAY 2nd Nov' 12 who claimed to be in your "disputes team". After a detailed discussion & he promising he would send me a email in 24 hours about my refund, I haven received any update by email or a phone call till today - FRIDAY 9th Nov' 12. Moreover, when I tried repeatedly calling the number he phoned me from i.e. +91 [protected] the number isnt answered. Again a MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT FROM YOUR COMPANY! !
This hence a last reminder & request to help me resolve my pending matter by refunding my payments back. Failing to which, I will have no further options but to pursue this matter ahead.
