[Resolved]  Sun Direct — Signal Reception Problem

I am new subscriber of SUN Direct DTH Connection.The Quality of Channel Reception is amazing during regular weather, but during rainy time I have experienced off no signal Error (something like "E48 No Signal") appearing on the Television Screen.Once this happens, there is no resumption of Signal anymore and we will be able to watch the Channels only after switching Off and Switching On both the Television and the Set Top Box.I do not know whether this is how System Behaves in all the Cases, but Surely this is going to be a major SetBack if it happens to be the same in all the cases.

Sun Direct — No attendance to the complaint of No Signal in Dish

We have taken Sun Direct Connection about a year back, initialy it was ok but from past 6 months their services are simply yuck their dish is almost most of the time out of signal, after many complain on their customer care there is no response, they always give false promises and their engineers never turn up.

Please adhere to this matter it is simply matter of cheating.
The news of this irregularities by Sun Direct officials nad there customer care in chennai as well as other district areas complaints news has been published and the customers has to put an FIR against such Channels peoples who are playing with customers value and time by calling and requesting 100 times and no responce and no technical persons they are sending till now from there side the people must come forward to lodge complaint against them by putting smart card number in cousumer complaint website and a action must be taken against them immediately

My Smart Card No-[protected]. I have activated my account on 02.12.2010. Since than I am not getting any reception of Sun Direct. Message displayed on the TV screen was "Searching for signals"
I lodged a complaint on 04.12.2010(Complaint No [protected]). I was told that dish need to be realigned since Sun DTH satellite is relocated. Technicians will be visiting soon to my place.
Till date nobody has attended the complaint. I have contacted several time customer care and every time I was told that "Very soon some body will be attending your complaint". Even after 22 days no body has attended. 1 month of validity period is also lost without any service available. I sent complaint through e- mail also on 03.12.2010 and 16.12.2010 but no reply is received till date. Ultimately I contacted the local distributer of Sun DIRECT and his technician did the realignment and charged me Rs 250.00 but still no signal is received. Now E-100 and E-16 messages are only displayed. On 30.12.2010 again I contacted customer care and as usual they assure that technician will visit but no body has turned up so far.
As a last resort, I request you to do some thing at the earliest. Can somebody help me.

this is sundirect problem proven solution
and waited for another 45 days. no reaction. my local distributor recommending to trash it and he says he stopped selling them and switched to airtel.

I have recharged Rs 1000 on october. I would have been more than happy if I got that refunded but according to Customer care I cant it seems

Last five months iam getting a similar message. Everytime I call the CC they say person will come and solve it. Today when I asked have u been charging for these 5 months they said Yes! What nonsense, they charge for not providing the service also? Then they say will extend your validity. Did a big mistake by buying SUN DTH.

I recharged VC No.[protected] through your agent Maheshwari Cabletronice vide receipt No.24304 dated 07/04/2001 still not getting Asiant and Asiant Plus Malayalam. I will approach your agent, they can not take any responsiblity and lose taking with customer. Kindly do the needful and I looking your prompt servict.

SUN DTH — renewal wrongs and no response from customer care

(1) My SIM card NO:[protected] and hold annual subscription for a basic telugu package of SUN DTH and purchase THREE add on channels at one time every month.
(2) When I have paid for annual subscription they show monthly renewal. their annual is from 15-5-11 to 27-4-12. Hundred times calling also they dont respond. Annual period is[protected] to[protected]
(3) I have three add on channels and should get 15% discount every month purchase. again there is no response.
(As per their advertisement in their site on purchase of Three add on channels at one time I should get 15% discount every month since it is purchased every month.)
(4)Their basic Renewal polacy is wrong: For example. Say from 15th May to 14th June is a month and they do the renewal on 14th June to 13th July for the next round. Remember for 14th signal I have already paid and they are charging me twice for that day. By year end I lose nearly half month subscription amount like this for no fault of mine. I tried to explain to the customer care a number of times. (5) The print out I took from my SUN connection account attached to this complaint explains this
I want through this complaint all the SUN cosumers to get benifit: 1. Remit back 15% discount for all the months for add on channels

Effect renewal (in all future occations)on the due date not for the signal paid date i.e example: if for a month the period is from 15th to 14 th the renewal date is from 15th again not 14th as is being done now. (2) Subsequent to my complaint above I visited SUNDIRECT nodal officer located at Hyderabad(Bowenpally) on[protected].To my surprise I found additional irregularities as listed bellow and their explanation for the same:
(a) To cater to my add on channel payment requirements I keep a sum of approximately Rs.300/- requirements. They have deducted Rs.99 (taxes pre-collected) towards monthly renewal off Telugu basic package on[protected] which is in addition to my Telugu value pack one year subscription( Rs. 1187.67) already collected by them on[protected]valied upto[protected] as per their annual renewal scheme prevailing at the time of renewal). Yearly renewed package was changed to monthly renewal at their vim’s since amount credit is available in my account and charged additional amount. THIS IS HIGHLY IRREGULAR and I WANT MY ANNUAL RENEWAL SCHME TO BE CONTINUED AS THIS SAVES NEARLY FIFTEEN DAYS FOR ME IN AN YEAR. Additional Rs.99 charged must be refunded.A copy of money collection made by them is enclosed.
(b) They told add on package discount 15%was discontinued from April 2011 thought the advertisement is still there on their web site.
(c) A day advance renewal on add on package is embedded in their renewal soft ware as per renewal hour which they cannot help me –BY RENEWAL ON THE EARLIER DAY THEY ARE CHARGING ME TWICE FOR THE SAME DAY AS EXPLAINED IN MY EARLIER COMPLAINT.
I want through this complaint all the SUN consumers to get benefit: 1. Remit back 15% discount for all the months for add on channels
2. most of the channels like chutti, makkal, kalaignar, java etc, . are always no signal, I tried many times in dish. my f**in money are wasted. i hate sun direct...:P

please provide all channels at 143 RS; initially you gave the advertisement about all channels at RS 75 per month, but now why increase ?
