[Resolved]  Sun Direct — Satellite Problem, Some Channels are not coming from more than two months

I am Submitting this complaint because of Sun Direct DTH bad service.Earlier July-10 first 2 weeks there was no signal. When I tried to Call customer service the phone was engage and after Two week some channels are updated but till date i am unable to watch all channels when I called to customer complaint they are giving reason of Satellite Problem. When I asked how much time it will take, they are saying that we can't say when you will receive all channels and when the satellite problem will solve, I am unable to receive prompt response from them.

SUN DTH — channel problem

my smart cart number [protected] i alredy activete sun bouquet back but last two days it not coming in my tv i alredy complain in custmer care complain number[protected] please recover
I have recharged for one year subscription. but set max channel does not shown. my smart card no. [protected].please recover the problem.

We were facing the similar problem with SUN DTH. I spoke to their customer service, explained the problem. First they told the problem with the receiver. I had established that there was no problem either with receiver or dish direction as we were getting the signal of Kalignar TV but other TVs signal were totally not available. After a long conversation, the SUN DTH Customer Service informed that they have problem with their own transmission equipments and they are going to change the same and they have no idea on how long it will take to replace.

The poor telecast is purely due to technical faults oriented from SUN DTH and they are keeping silent and putting their customer in embrassing situation without even any announcement. If any one know how to handle this matter officially, can advise. Finally, we now disconnected the SUN DTH receiver and went back to cable tv.
there is more than 2 months and we are not seeing the whole channel of our dth service
I am a sun direct customer since 7/9/2010 based at Visakhapatnam. Recently I got recharged i.e on 8/9/2010 hoping that I can view the TV channels nicely. But due to my utter disappointment the channels are not at all visible with heavy disturbance. Further I am unable to contact the local customer service or at Hyderabad. they are continuously engaged.There is no proper after sales service by Sun direct people. This is highly deplorable. On one side they are advertising with out giving any service to the customers. What is the actual problem? This they should explain well by sun direct people and assure for quality of viewing TV channels

I am Kumar from Tituchy, Sun DirectDTH customer for the past 15 months.I am sorry to complaint that for the last two months I could not view some good channels like UTV World movies, WB movies, FX, FX Crime etc.But there is an Ad being shown in the informatiom channel that Sundirect technicians would be visiting our home to upgrade the apparatus.But none has visited till date.I hope that all these wil be set right soon.
I am newly switched to SUN DIRECT assuming that service will good but most of the time single will not be received.

I tried the customer care such a great guys, buffing the customer we should learn them. first when i call up answer was (it will rectified in 45 mins but 1:30 hrs finished but no signal.
Again called back to customer this time i got different answer they gave the dealer number they never pick up the call.

i called up again and again every time they will ask sim card number that is fine but they will ask your address then owner of the dish but your problem will not solved.

do you think after reading my comment we should go for SUN DIRECT ?

better go for Tata Sky installation charges will more but you will have peace of mind
i am justin . i am also last 10 days i told that same problem. but, the custemer service is very poor response in kodad, nalgonda district, andhra pradesh.

Sun Direct DTH — CAN'T VIEW SOME CHANNELS

This is mithilesh kumar yadav residing at E-188A,Ground Floor,Jaitpur Extension,Delhi-110044.i have taken a sun direct DTH which Smart Card No.is [protected] for the past 15 days ,I could not viewing some channels and getting error only (E16,E48,Blank etc.) I have been ringing the customer care for the past 5days.No one responed for 5days every time they are saying that your complaint forward to high label and it is sortout shortly.please assist me regarding the issue.

SUN DTH - GUJARAT — SERVICE NOT UPGRADED

I have taken Sun DHT service at Patan District, Gujarat State (384265)
and my Smart Card No. [protected]. I am unable to watch the DHT
service since last two months. Sun DHT have upgraded ther DHT but
not done at customer level. Not able to contact Nodal Officer in the
phone. Customer Care Executive have promised to look into the same
but no action taken so far. Complain No. 1-[protected] & 1-[protected].

Sun Direct DTH — Lack of proper after sales service

Sir/Madam,

Iam K.K Rajappan Nair residing in Bharathi Nagar, Thirumulavoil Chennai -62 got sun direct dth connection one year back. Four months back we started receiving messages stating that satellitedirection is changed and if they would send their technicians to do necessary changes. We are able to view any chanels now . We made so many complaints to the custiomer care stating that we are not able to view the chanels. We made the calls from October 30th till date we have not received proper response from them nor they are sending any of their technicians to correct the repair.

We are not able to watch TV since OCT 2010. If we have to view any programs we have to go the neighbours house and we are getting ashamed infront of others.

Please take necessary action against these DTH companies so that others need not suffer because of such companies.

SUN DTH — Lack of after sales service

we got a connection in tata sky,it was good and service also were nice.then we did the mistake, when sun dth was introduced we thought it will be cheaper

and we took a connection.for initial installation itself we got so many troubles.they installed the machine some where else and closed our installation.we had a troublesome followup to get it installed,after that it was working ok.for recharge it was another nightmare...to get call center number its a herculian task.then that great satellite issue came...we followed continously with call centre to get it aligned..but response was so bad..tried for 1 1/2 month but solution were not given...atlast we took a local cable connection...now its working ok...our piece of advice is that dont go for cheaper things you will land up in troubles only..before buy take feedback from whereever its available.
After seeing the ads, i discontinued my local cable connection and took a DTH connection of Sun .Initial installation was ok . But doing a recharge is really a herculean task . I am located in Pune and no major shops have the recharge coupon of Sun and the only option is online recharge . To activate an add-on pack, when I tried their Mumbai Call centre No, IVR says that the number doesn't exist . For the past 3 weeks am trying their no but no response (not even ringing) . Really pathetic service and plz donot even mention the damn satellite issue . I had to pay Rs 100 for technician visit even though they said it would be free. one of the worst customer support
