[Resolved] Tata Aig — non issuance of motor renewal policy beyond 15 days | |
policy number [protected] in the name of CR Ramesh babu. This policy was to be renewed from 12.02.2009. Every day right from first week of Jan 2009, I used receive calls from Tata AIG requesting me to renew the policy. I must have received their calls atleast 50 times. The call used to come from one Mr Diwakar. Finally I succumed to the pressure and requested them to send an official with the best offer ( made very clear not to send any agent). One Mr Ramesh delivered the renewal notice and I have issued cheque favoring Tata AIG for Rs 5419/- on 05.02.2009 as per the cover note. I have received the acknowledgement and I hold the xerox copy. My account was debited on 11.02.2009. The official promised that I would receive the policy in 7 working days. I have not received the policy till the time of writing this letter( 26.02.2009). It has become my turn to speak to them every day. I have been speaking right from 13.02.2009. The officials I am speaking to are Mr Ramesh, Mr Prakash, Mr Naveen apart from the Board number all from Bangalore, Ms Sneha, Ms Sing, Ms Forum all from Tolfree number. Every time I get the line I have wait for ten minutes for them to answer me. I have to give deatails and wait for 10 minutes listening to tele music while they verify my information. Then I get a reply that the policy will be issued soon. Every time I request them to let me speak to some one who has authority to solve the issue, I get reply saying they are not supposed to tell the name of their superior and they can not give the contact number. This is purely harrassment. When I insist on speaking to higher official, I get a reply if I am not pleased with their reply I am at my liberty to do what I wish. This is double harrassment. Please some one help me to get the policy renewed or help me get the money back. Their promise to deliver policy within seven days time is broken. Is this not a deficiency of service. Do I have speak to the Chairman to get the problem solved?. Who is the correct official in Tata AIG. Why am I not getting the policy? My Complaint number 5877188. TATA AIG is the most flumcy organisation. Iwas also chased but a similar idot and I did also unfortunately went into their trap. I facing a much graver problem then you. Atleast for you, You did not get your policy for me policy was issued and cancelled without giving any intimation and when I met with a accident and applied for a cliam they had sent me the cancellation dating backward without even taking any apology.
When I filed a complaint they didnt even bother to answer the complaint.
Please get back your money and go to some good insurance company. Please dont ever make a mistake of being with TATA AIG you may have to lose more then what you lost now.
