I took a car insurance from TATA AIG this year. The policy was purchased on 20th Dec 2009 and the payment was made through credit card as installments.
It was informed that soft copy of the insurance will be recieved within 24 hours and hard copy within 7 working days.
Since my existing policy was expiring on 3rd Jan 2010, and did not receive any information until then, I called up TATA AIG customer care and enquired about the status. It was informed that there is no information regarding the same and no insurance is issues to my vehicle number.
With this information, I went ahead with another insurance provider and took insurance for my vehicle.
When my credit card statement came, I realised that TATA AIG premium is charged. I called up customer care and lodged a complaint on 20th of Jan 2010. Even after a month, there is no action from their side. I am following up with them on a regular basis, everytime I call, they give me a 24 hrs time frame to solve the issue and assure me to call back and nothing happens. Was this information helpful? |
