[Resolved] Tata DoCoMo / GSM Prepaid — Refund of my MONEY that has been charged due to misguidance of CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE | |||
Hello Sir, I am a TATA DOCOMO customer of Karnataka with mobile number [protected]. After using TATA DOCOMO for more than one year approximately, my tariff validity expired on the end of January 2011. When I contacted CUSTOMER CARE, i was asked to recharge 36.00 Rs. to continue my previous tariff for another one more year. So i recharged an amount of Rs. 36.00 on[protected] and I was enjoying my old tariff as 1pc/sec. On April 3rd 2011, I came to know from one of my friend that a new scheme was introduced with the special recharge of Rs. 69.00, for which my call tariff will be changed to 1pc/2sec for 3 months. When i contacted customer care on[protected] to enquire whether that scheme will be applicable for me, one executive asked me to recharge Rs. 69.00 and as well as Rs. 36.00, only then the scheme to be applied. On immediately i got my number recharged with Rs. 69.00 and Rs. 36.00 sucessfully. But later i realised that the customer care executive has "misguided" me and due to that I had recharged Rs. 36.00 twice (i.e.[protected] and[protected]. On[protected] I called customer care and asked to refund my RS. 36.00 which had been recharged to to misguidance by customer care executive. They told me to contact the retailer where i have recharged and get it refunded. When I contacted the retailer, he said that once the currency is sucessfully recharged, then no money can be refunded. Again I contacted customer care on[protected] and told them what all happend and asked about my refund. But they refused to do so. Now i am experiencing a feeling that I have been cheated and they (customer care and retailer) are blaming on eachother. It is not just a matter of 36.00 Rs. It is nothing but a looting of customers money openly at day as if there is no one to be held responsible and it also shows that the so called customer care executive dosn't have proper knowledge or misguiding the customers purposely. Hence, I hereby request the amount of Rs. 36/- that has been recharged for the second time due to misguidance of customer care executive be refunded immediately or credit it to my talktime value. I was thinking to port from vodafone to TATA DOCOMO, but after reading such types of complains, I think that vodafone is 10000 times better than other operators in all aspects.

with reference to my complaint dated[protected], you had said that a complaint has been registered with docket number PGSR09334712, which will be resolved by[protected]. Also upon resolution of the complaint, I would be informed.
But, unfortunately Today is already[protected]:30 PM) and neither my money is been refunded nor my problem is solved. I would like to know why is the delay? When will my money be refunded? Is there any care taken towards the customer? Is it wrong that I recharged for the second time blindly trusting your Customer care executive?

My personal opinion, not to completely trust the CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVES...
They do not have proper knowledge /information to give to the customers.

On[protected], another Customer care executive called me and denied to refund my money.
After that conversation, my personal opinion is, not to completely trust the CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVES...
I am not a computer. I cant keep the track of all the recharges in my mind.
What ever the recharges done / tariff / call charges / validity, should be known by the Customer Care Executives who has a computer and also has the right to access my transactions at least to know the basic information.
They do not have proper knowledge /information to give to the customers.
They do not want to agree their mistakes.
Due to that they have disagreed to refund my money.

Regarding my main complaint, on[protected], another complaint was been registered with docket number PGSM09373761 by TATA DOCOMO customer care and i was told that it would be resolved by 18-APR-2011.
But nothing has been done by TATA DOCOMO.
When called to customer care to enquire about it, either it is not connected or when connected, the call is disconnected purposely by the executives.
Why are they doing like that? Why are they not responding properly? What is the problem to refund MY MONEY to me? Why do they want MY MONEY? What do they gain by not refunding MY MONEY?
I dont mind calling TATA DOCOMO THIEVES.

Paid for 4 postpaid mobile connections special nos :[protected],[protected],[protected] &[protected] @ Rs. 2000/- per no by cheque nos - 658313, 658314, 658315 & 658316, ICICI BANK, COX TOWN, from my company current account.
This was for an urgent requirement to blast sms & receive calls on all 4 nos. But the response, service has left me so very disappointed. Two verifications were done, yet no connections were provided.
I wonder what choice of words can really describe the attitudde of your Tata team. I was promised refund, yet one whole month has passed without any reply. After insisting for a receipt, I was issued one, dated 25-Mar-2011, invoice no - IRKA/4110/1084/00928, 29, 30, 31 - only for the sim card charges - Rs. 300.00 x 4 = Rs. 1, 200.00. My 3 out 4 cheques have been cashed.
