Tata Docomo — Slowness of speed | |||
Sir, This is to notify you that I purchased a tata photon device on August 13, 2010 after getting to know about good speed from your advertisements. First month I was able to work properly but never get even 1 Mbps speed even that month. From then onwards my misery started I was constantly getting speed not more than 50 Kbps on an average and it was every difficult for me to work for me on internet forget about connecting to my office network. My professional needs are as such that I need to work on Indian holidays because I am working for US clients. Since I had a MTNL broadband connection also and since it too is quite inconsistent hence I bought TATA photon device but to my horror it started creating more problems for me as MTNL never had speed issues. Only problem that MTNL connection has that somedays it works and somedays it does not, but it speed is the best. Therefore, I first registered my complaint with TATA Photon on October 14th and I received a response that an Engineer will visit me within 24 hours, but not till 17th October I received a call from that engineer. At 2:00 pm I received the call from that engineer when I was having my lunch at my friend's house. The engineer insisted me to let him know how was my photon working at that time. I was in no position to reply to that engineers query as I had no laptop at that time with me but he keep on insisting me that he needs to close the issue hence I should reply him then and there, so I helplessly told him to close the issue during lunch itself. From then on I never received any proper support from TATA photon because whenever I called them they started telling me that there was an issue going on with TATA Photon site in Laxmi Nagar area and the problem will continue with me. In my first call after 17th October I was told that since I have exhaused by 5GB alloted quota for the month hence I am facing the the issue but then I called back one lady told me that your systems were not showing any usage from my end and there is some issue with TATA photon servers in Laxmi Nagar and the issue will persist till October end. After that when I called back I was told that the issue will now get resolved by November 7th and I should call back the customer service to revert the bill. I did the same and this time I was told that the issue will get resolved by November 22nd, however in the meantime by bill was reverted back. Again I called back and I was informed that the issue will get resolved by 15th December and the customer agent assured me that I will get a full reversal of my bill and he has noted that down in one of the docket [I have all the docket numbers available with me, in case you need it let me know]. And I was assured this time that services will be up at the max by 15th December, so in order to check whether photon is working or not I started working on laptop using the device, the speed was still not more than 100 kbps. So I again called back to the customer service and I was now informed that the server in my area will be up only by 31st JANUARY 2011. Addditionally I was told that my bill will only be reverted by half of the amount of the bill beacuse I used the device on 13th December. After that I talked to some senior person of your department he told me the resolution that I should stop using the device till 31st Janaury and thus will be able to get my bills revoked and in the meantime I should buy their TATA Dokomo service. Now what I want is that you should either cancel my account and take away device from me and refund me my money or please restart proper services to which I am liable for ie. 5GB speed and 128 Kbps after the alloted quota. I have to work so I cannot stop using the device and this not accepatable at all for me to pay for something for which I was supposed to get. Please look into the matter at priority and provide me a solution.
