[Resolved]  Tata DoCoMo / Photon — Loss of data balance & recharge amount despite confirmation of recharge

I'm a Tata photon plus customer, no: [protected].

I had a data balance of 5682 MB which was to expire on April 10th midnight. I had recharged my account online with Rs 350 at 7:08 pm, well in advance of the cut-off time.

I also received a payment confirmation mail from Docomo photon's end, forwarded below. (Also received a payment confirmation from my bank)

Despite, receipt of the recharge amount and the confirmation of the same, I was shocked to find that my account wasn't updated from their end and I had lost all my data balance as well as the Rs 350 that I had recharged it with.

This is atrocious to say the least, especially since this is the second time that this is occurring to me. This time around I've decided to take the matter up very seriously and fight tooth and nail to ensure that my balance as well as my 1 month validity is restored to my account.

Therefore, I am seeking for the service provider to -
1) Restore my data balance of 5682 MB + 512 MB (of Rs 350 recharge)
2) Restore my monthly validity - 10/05/2012 + no of days that are taken to resolve the issue.

Though it addresses the Rs 350 recharge, I want to know the status of my data balance of 5682 MB

Since the recharge goo[censored]p happened well before the cut off time of my validity expiry, I will need the entire data balance back.

Would like a reply soon.

Tata Docomo Photon - Part II — Data balance still not restored

Hi

This is regarding complaint docket no: COM[protected] for Docomo photon no: [protected]. I had lost my data balance of 5682 MB despite recharging with Rs 350 and receiving confirmation for the same before the validity expired. While they've taken some steps to return the money, nothing has been done to restore my data balance of 5682 MB.
They've not replied to my emails, not picking up my calls to their customer cell no:[protected].

As a next step, I'm considering filing a case in consumer court.

As a caveat to other photon customers or those considering to buy one, in my next post, I will share the links of all Facebook pages where other Docomo Photon customers have faced similar problems and why they should go for a different service.

Expecting a reply from Docomo photon. I'vee sent mails to both [protected]@tatadocomomarketing.com and [protected]@tatatel.co.in to no avail.
