[Resolved] Tata Indica Vista — Defective Car | |||
We had purchased Tata Indica Vista (PB11AL/6412, chassis no. 611241KRZPD7361), from M/S Goyal Motors Patiala in January 2009. From the very beginning the car gave the following problems: 1. The fuel efficiency was very low; it was around 8 Km/Litre 2. The car would give starting trouble, but this was not on a regular basis, which further made the car very unreliable. We would never be sure if the car will start or not. We had many times complained to the agency and they did their best to resolve the problems. But they were not able to increase the fuel efficiency, though the starting problem would temporarily be resolved. This has been going on for last two years. We have been told by the agency that the car piece we have got is defective and that is why the above problems are not being permanently solved. Because of the low fuel efficiency and starting problem, we have not been able to fully utilize the car services and the car has covered only 14,000 Kms in last two and half years. We have already wasted a lot of our time, energy and money for this car. This car is bringing a real bad name to Tata. My car is also giving lot of problems. it turns 360 degrees when breaked at low speeds suchas 60 kmph but tata motors does not take customers seriously.

I have a Tata Indica Xeta. Mumbai RTO passing. The day one I purchased I never had a satisfaction of driving a good car. I 100% agree with you that it is a faulty vehicle. And in-spite of having fleet of Engineers and mechanics in there work shop they can only offer a poor rather bad service.
My vehicle have a bumping and rattling sound at back wheel behind the driving seat. I took my vehicle many time to the workshop but they couldn't rectify it. No they turn there deaf ears to the issue.
