Dear Sir,

This has reference to my earlier mail a month ago explaining the condition of my car Dicor XL Grand KL 07BG 2714 and the subsequent work undertaken at Koyenco Autos Pvt Ltd, Kochi, Kerala. I really appreciated the effort taken then by Tata Motors to get the work done.

But I am sorry to mention that the same vehicle is repeatedly showing same complaints like Clutch assembly replacement, Water Pump replacement, timing belt and idler replacement, etc. We hope you can understand the financial impact with continuous break down of the vehicle which affects our operations in Taj green Cove, Kovalam.

Also, my two indica cars deployed at Taj Gate Way, Varkala (KL07BG 2328 / Km Run: 40000 approx.) and Taj Gate Way, Calicut (KL07BG 2301 / Km Run: 40000 approx.) is showing complaints with the power steering. And these complaints were reported to the concerned service centers when the vehicles were sent for servicing earlier. But now I have been told that the cars are not under warranty cover without addressing the problem earlier.

Also I would like to mention here that I am the single largest supplier of vehicles for Taj Group of Hotels in Kerala. Apart from other cars, my fleet comprise of nine vehicles from Tata Motors (Tata Indigo Dicor XL Grand- 4 no.s, Tata Indica- 4 no.s and Tata Indigo- 1no.).

Under this situation, I shall feel obliged if you immediately look into this matter by which you can support us. I look forward to your immediate response in this matter.

Yours truly,

Sherry V Vakkachan

I am Vijayanand from Chennai I brought a Safari-VX of reg no: TN 09 BB 9999 in the name of v. yuvaraj ten months before from V.S.T. motors, Mount Road . For the past few months I am continuously facing corrosion problem in the vehicle. Last time when we given the vehicle for service we escalated the issue with service station and some tinkering work was done by the service station to remove it, now again and again the patches of corrosion was seen all over the places of my car. We already purchased 2 more vehicles of same model, there is no such issue with that two vehicles. We are afraid that entire shell will be corroded. So we requested the V.S.T. Motors and TATA Motors to replace our vehicle with a new shell. But they are not doing that. I am very much surprised that for a new vehicle itself they are not providing the warranty properly, if the vehicle crossing the warranty what will they do? We need this peoblem to be solved as soon as possible because our business was severely affected with out the vehicle. We need a permanent solution for this problem. Other wise we will take the legal actions against your company. A person from TATA Motors had spoken to me regarding this, but he refused to change the new one. That was very bad service provided by your company to me. For any details call [protected]. email; [protected]@gmail.com.
I have purchased a tata indica vista quadrajet anniversary model on 20 jan 2009...from that day I daily face new problems with my car....when last tym I get serviced my car from raj motors, rohtak which is authorised service. Station of tata motors..I went to hisar after servicing...on d way..d car looses its pickup...nd when I reached rohtak..I went direct to d service statio..they checked the car nd find the car engine was broke down.as it releases lot of smoke, pick up is zero nd mileage is also very poor....the car runs only 1lac kms..bt when I bought it..they said if their will be proper service n maintainence..the car definately runs 2lacs kms min...so I get proper service till Thn I faced a prblem...I spent approx 2lac rs on d maintainence of my car..nd d engine replacement now costs approx 70thsnd...I don understand that wht can I do now...d service of the car was not proper done in d service station..i see many problems in indica vista...its not only my problem.but the people who have thwse tata indica vista cars..they all suffer with this proble...bt in other companies like maruti or hyundai...we dont suffer from all these type of problems....these tata cars are d worst..
Indica vista quadrajet problems from company....bt they dont solve d problemss.....
-Engine seize only after 1lacs km aftet every proper service.
-Company says now that after every 30thsnd kms there should be propnterer cleaning of intercooler.so what about all that people like me ..which have purchased it earlier..dat tym company doesnt tells thay there should be cleaning of intercooler..when lot of engine replaces than they conclude d reasons..is the company sleeps till now??
-Dealership tells that in the new model of indica vista the design of the air filter changes bcoz in old model the company says that the design was not proper so d dust enters into it nd engine gets broke down.
-After launching of 2 yrs of car..the company lies a metal sheet below the chamber..that protects the chamber.so wht about that cars..which runs from the launching date without that metal sheet.
-Dealership says that from starting of the 6months from launching..mostly cars dont have proper ac compressor.so wht about that customers which r suffering from all these problems ..
-WE ASK FROM DEALERSHIO THAT WHT'S OUR MISTAKE..IF FROM STARTING ..THESE ALL KINDS OF PROBLEMS IN THE CAR FROM TATA MOTORS...THEY DONT EVEVN REPLACE OR PUT THAT ITEMS..THE DEALERSHIP SAIDS THAT UR MISTAKE IS THAT U BOUGHT A INDICA VISTA...ONLY ONE MISTAKE IS THAT U DID IS..THAT BUY A INDICA VISTA..
-All these mistakes from tata motors are
.air filter
.ac compressor
.metal sheet of chamber
.intercooler not cleaned
These r the mistakes from tata motors...which they need to be replaced it on all d old models..as d customer suffers all this due to mistake created by tata motors...nd in the last the engine broke down...like all these happened with me...now they ask for approx 70thsnd for d replqcement of engine...which is also a company mistake...
These r not cars...

ENGINE PROBLEM
Sir/Madam,
1. I am the owner of TATA SAFARI LX(PB 06L 1851), which I had purchased in April 2010.The reason for purchase of the vehicle was my passion to own a SUV and more strongly because the product was from ‘TATA MOTORS’, who are renowned for quality and reliability.
2. Over the period of about two and half years my vehicle has clocked only about 14, 000 KMs. Of late it had developed a problem wherein the ignition system had begun to malfunction.
3. I approached an authorized Tata Service Station in Indore with the problem. I was informed that the Electronic Control Unit (ECU) had gone faulty and requires replacement. On further enquiry I was told that the ECU is a critical component and it would cost me around Rs30, 000/- for replacement.
4. As I had no other alternative, I had to opt in for the replacement. During the course of the repairs I was info that the SIMAF sensor assy had also gone faulty and the same also needs to be replaced. The total of both the replacements amounting to approx Rs36, 000/-.
5. You will appreciate that thirty six thousand rupees is not a small amount to shell out for a service employee as me and that too all of a sudden. If the problem was due to negligence or wear and tear I would have still accepted, but from what I understand this problem is purely due to manufacturing/quality defect.
6. I had purchased the vehicle with high hopes and faith in your quality and product reliability, but I am sorry to say that they have been shattered. I now actually repent the decision to purchase this vehicle when there were other competitive brand vehicles in the market.
7. The name of a brand and company is spread more by the word of mouth, and I would be cautious in recommending a TATA product to my friends/relatives because of this bad experience. You would rather counter, by stating that this is a one odd case, but then I am one who facing the brunt and I am not ready to accept that the odd destiny has played up with me.
8. It would be anybody’s guess as to what actions you will take on this letter, however I thought it is prudent as your grieved customer, to pen down my feelings and to inform you the agony which I had experienced and hope that other customers do not have undergo the same.
9. I had forwarded the complaint earlier but I have not got any reply. I was expecting at least a courtesy call /mail from your end, considering your reputation.
